  1. Video I saw he just want left regardless. I wonder if undertaking is not common in China.
  2. They aren't out doing much of that in Pattaya of late! Might be more of it as we get into high season.
  3. Yes I can agree to that, although I would appropriate a little blame to myself though. Perhaps undue grumpiness and a bad mood. They can do things that are intolerably self focused or stupid sometimes.
  4. All as he was choking her eh! He doesn't sound blameless.
  5. Yes it could, do it yourself online is far more convenient.
  6. Magna Carta on Tai perhaps!
  7. Renew passport before, well before. I was up against a wall once when passports were taking far longer than normal and it had me on edge!
  8. ??? Not for a week it isn't!
  9. Yes, well in China they drive on the other side of the road so not exactly the same issue, perhaps a cause.!
  10. Doesn't get light that early in most countries, are you in Sweden?
  11. People flout laws because they are not enforced in the slightest, despite there being cameras all over the place! So the article is correct, but one would have to be a moron not to have seen evidence of this for that last few years... post covid seems to be when traffic law enforcement stopped.
  12. I thought drinking on the beach was not allowed end of! Although I do struggle to keep up with the situations and rules in Thailand. It was always one of the attractions of the place, that it was so liberal, aone could have a cold beer as the sun set in a deck chair......
  13. That's the reality... homeless people often seem to have mental issues, or at least go feral. Not sure which comes first.
  14. All these folks regaling what likely happened, I am surprised there was room in there for her to swing the blade!
  15. Well he might be safer if they used a different bed, maybe in a different hospital.
  16. Well there are quite a lot of them here (double the number of cars), and undertaking is commonplace, as any car/truck driver will tell you. And M/C drivers are often kids, elderly , unqualified or not paying attention.
  17. If one survives the first, there should not be the opportunity for second!
  18. Yes, and many of them yell 'I pay your wages' despite not having paid tax and being on benefits! Congrats and well done Thai police here!
  19. Keeps the negative stats down though!
  20. IIRC they told me not to bother until licences were renewed. It did provoke an issue at Big-C when I tried to get my member discount and presented the driving licence.
  21. Regaled for the 99 baht breakfast, no substitutions, served up with a scowl by the most miserable face in town. But I liked it back then!
  22. Utter nonsense! Thais seem devoted to their children.
  23. In a society without old age pensions this seems more civilized than the entitled lazy kids feeding off their parents until quite old.
  24. Still, very pleasant to see a row of pretty girls. I do hope they all are girls!
