I have found that to be a general problem here.... many eateries seem not to handle a lot of customers very effectively. That said, Pa Boons really spits them out, but fails at bringing all orders at a similar time. A steamed fish will always be 10 minutes after other quick wok dishes.

Traffic, which is a 'heavy' in Pattaya by your metric, is far far worse in Bangkok. Open walking areas exist in the Pattaya area,, simply not in the Beach Rd, North Rd, 3rd Rd and South Rd rectangle. I think even Jomtien beach offers a good walk.

Near Bali Hai in the past, music concerts too. It is very crowded though.

So a comment on Pattaya from someone who has bever been there, never will, and a deflection to a commentary on a City 13,000 km away from Pattaya?
