Yes I was going to mention the less discerning aspect of them. But making money and jobs are what it is all about. The real attraction is the sheer numbers that are involved, there is a limitless supply of gormless looking tourists, who don't mind a small room, a tatty bathroom, and are easy to feed and can be herded....no different than the old package tours from UK to Costa del Sol with chicken and chips in a basket!
Most of the early Covid cases in Thailand were attributed to Europeans....it was a surprise as previously Wuhan Chinese featured much in visitors here.
It's about cycles not motorcycles.
They can go up but not down, and have to be accompanied by a car. What a wonderful green cycling experience.... quite idiotic.
Does this reflect very few (or none) of the special return fares that we used to have, like H, K, M, L, G, V, S, N, Q, O, etc and the return tickets are full fare Y Class?
Old fashioned... opinions are formed by current fashions are they? At the age of near 70 I suspect my opinions are based on older life experiences.!
It certainly isn't all around ME! I have zero heavily tabooed folks around me. I also regard fashion as something weak minded people follow to show their independent thinking, by copying what their friends do! Its like some folks wearing their pants half way down their ass, it really is, and looks, stupid!
These types of decision and back pedaling happen often. The cannabis situation another example... it also happened frequently wrt covid procedures. I really don't care whether the fireworks go ahead or not, it is wrong that people who make plans are getting messed about from pillar to post....
They have iron balls until someone else pipes up!
Was it about this time last year the brouhaha was over a Russian couple at it in the sea or on the beach? What is it with these Thai guys popping their heads up from bushes and filming these things... go film the ladyboys robbing, or the pick-pockets picking, or the scammers scamming!
Having spent time also in the PA one it is indelibly marked in my brain.....if anyone mentions Pasadena I also think of the wrong place as I worker there, not the one in Ca, but the one in Houston Tx.
(PS... you messed up the H's)
Minibuses went that way from behind Numchai on Sukhumvit... BUT last time I went via there it was very quiet. The old Tesco/Lotus supermarket had been demolished and half of the small bars and eateries in that row looked derelict. I have a couple of pals who go to Cambodia a lot... neither speak very positively about it. Also my distant trips i thought PP and Sihanoukville were awful places. I hear Siam Reap is better.
