  1. And is this another example of you switching your Nationality to fit the purpose again? I was pleasantly surprised Thailand was giving me free Covid vaccinations, more so to find it would be the good stuff from the USA, rather than the junk, (as it was being stated at that time), my Thai Mrs got!
  2. That is the fear. It certainly appears they are very much incentivized to perform unnecessary procedures and actions ang generally promote tests and treatments to earn the hospital money, plus, I am sure, commissions for themselves.
  3. Yes I would often bypass where I actually wanted to turn as there was a safer place a little down the road where I can get onto spare land where I can get in and then wait for a large gap.... Thais are very very adverse to going further than they need to, and will take crazy short cuts to save a few yards.
  4. Surely then, raising the minimum wage is also making Thai workers redundant!
  5. He could start by selling some decent bacon to many Hotels and restaurants in town! Maybe promote Carlsberg too!
  6. Was looking at 21 degC North of Pattaya City before sunrise this morning. T-shirt required.
  7. I agree... it can be seen already with current wage levels so to increase the minimum will cement the approach in. Many restaurants near to me now have few Thai fluent staff!
  8. Agreed, disproportionate sentencing.... some from influential families are allowed to get away with murder.
  9. I guess the investigation was progressing well, too well, and some were feeling the heat!
  10. Possibly, he didn't know what she looked like with the mask on!
  11. A bit hard to define 'normal' these days. Some places are filled with those not wanting to work, living off state benefits and bringing up feral children unneeded in a crowded world! 'Families' may not be the right word.
  12. Nor is that the question asked in the original post!
  13. If one is infected and has been vaccinated, they have less severe symptoms (if any), and recover more quickly, and are thus contagious for less time. You have to consider a bigger picture than one on one!
  14. We have also known since then that it mutates into different strains and sub strains and since Feb 2020 we have had pre Alpha then, Alpha being common in UK late 2020, Then Beta, Gamma, Delta, and Omicron late2021. All varying transmission and pathology. We got most of the Greek alphabet covered. Your use of the word 'just' is inexact here... English perhaps not your first language.
  15. It might have been 'braked sharply' too....I fear turning right off a single carriageway too... one has to watch behind as much is in front.
  16. Turn right out of Areca, walk down Soi Diana to Buakhao...left there at Subway...about 30m on the left, next to gold shop, TT Exchange,
  17. Who are also using dating Apps..... ? Probably most in this town.

  19. I have not seen many fire extinguishers handy by food vendors ever!
  20. They are not in the habit of making discriminatory laws quite yet... except when it comes to land ownership, particular jobs, venue entrance fees.. oh never mind.
  21. It requires extra paperwork at Extension renewal time and forces you to move money when perhaps rates are not good... and if you are late one month, potentially no Extension. Works for people on regular income like a pension I guess.
