No not really, there will be a lot more!
I was talking to a former UN worker yesterday about this. Many of the workers have already been laid off.(Thailand)
Which in itself is a disaster, imagine the ripple effect.
I remember a bunch of years ago when there was a beat down in a local bar here.
A youngish foreigner with a bad reputation of abusing girls finally met his match.
The girls and a few locals did a real number on him and they also messed up his VW micro bus.
He himself was hauled of by an ambulance.
Never saw him there again but he is still around in the area.
Lesson learned i think.
Long story short.
Foreign couple, they have a pick-up and two motorbikes. All in the husbands name.
Husband died and after probate the wife left the country but signed all papers in order to sell the vehicles.
There is a buyer for the truck and we went to the DLT to transfer ownership to the buyer.
We were told the foreign wife of the dead husband has to be there in person in order to be able to transfer.
Is this normal?
We asked the lawyer who did the probate and he was not much help.
He was not interested.
How to proceed?
Good for you!
At our local DLT it means a lot.
I helped a Foreign guy who failed 3 attempts to get his license.
I told him to shave and wear long pants and a collared shirt with sleeves and shoes.
Next attempt he passed.
@placeholder,not many responses yet.
I guess the MAGA people are still celebrating?
Or just maybe they are going quiet because they are beginning to realize they all have been taken for a ride?
Or just maybe they all have gone shopping because the GROCERY prices have gone down?
You would think that in the land of fake religion many people would be "offended'?
Public nudity is also illegal in the US?
What about the poor children that can see a naked body?
They will be traumatized for the rest of their life!
No offense but i have been living here for some time now and i know what complaining would do.
I see the illegal things they are doing everyday and non of the other people living around here are doing anything about it and most are family.
During their loud all night parties guns are emptied into the air.
Going there to complain will get you shot ,i am sure.
It is not really my style to snitch on people and also not my job.
It is up to the Thai population to realize they need to all step up and safe their country from this yearly
unnecessary attack on their own health.
You can not help people who do not want to be helped.
