  1. Biggest problem imo is easy credit so you can buy a boat,a snowmobile , a jet-ski and can go on holiday thee times a year just because the people next door do it also. Oh yes and laziness. One other major pain in the neck are of course politicians who are just ruining it all to push their own issues.
  2. No surprise at all! Deal was done before he even got here other wise he would never have come back. Rest of the year confined to his local luxury residence? Not as a privilege but for health reason of course. And out for the occasional golf game .
  3. All of the tiles in my house about 180sq meters was put in only with cement. Perfect job .
  4. If you have to raise the level it is best to use cement and put the tiles in the wet cement.
  5. Same shxt different day ,as they say.
  6. A genius who can't cook? funny for sure ,not my kind of woman.
  7. I just checked,Facebook friends 4665 "friends" are they all my friends? Of course not "Friends " is just a name. I have asked maybe ten people to befriend me the rest is all requested by them. Facebook has helped me over the years to keep in touch with all these people from all over the world. Nothing strange going on,just a shared passion.
  8. A lot of crimes are committed by people who need money to buy drugs, give the drugs a lot cheaper and save the police and courts a lot of time! Giving Methadon to Heroin users has giving a lot of people their lives back.
  9. Yes the Marmite is something that also should be looked at then lol.
  10. You are high on what now? Apples and oranges there i think.
  11. So yes, illegality depends on where you are. That does not mean it is less damaging or saver at all. Making any drugs illegal is no solution, see the war on drugs. Let people decide for themselves what they want to use or abuse as long as it does not affect other peoples lives, then again anything any one does does affect other peoples lives.
  12. In the same line of "don't wear a bikini at the beach? On the other hand people with a bit of money can solve a problem like this very easily in Thailand. Maybe more people are following her to see how this story ends?
  13. Line has no criminal aspects? Should the Thai government be shut down because of corruption? Minister Chaiwut Thanakamanusorn should have come with a solution while he was in power.
  14. Of course there is opposition! There should be and now they found out they will need more regulation. I find this normal. Still a whole lot better then fighting a losing war against drugs. People have been using drugs since the beginning of mankind and they will continue to do so. Like a lot of things in the world we now have to chose between the lesser evil instead of a better choice. Maybe the government should create a saver alternative to these dangerous drugs and sell them so the criminals need to find something else to do?
  15. something like this? Can be done using a solar panel, many sizes available.
  16. Yes.legalize all drugs. Drugs should be sold in government shops and this will take the criminal aspect out of it. Instead of kind of quoting a police officer in the US why not look at Portugal? Read up on that and get back to me. Alcohol is still the most abused drug and i can't believe you were shocked about the Thai shift to normalcy .
  17. Can't say i care about any accent or dialect. As long as i can understand people i am fine. Op,how many languages do you speak? I am not a native English speaker but i spent enough years using the English language to consider myself fluent . Having lived in different countries i can communicate in five different languages.without any difficulty and a few dialects from my home country. How do i sound?Who cares? As long as i can get my message across.
  18. Got it all apart, connected the lose wire with the panel and it lit right up! Broke some parts taking it apart but i guess we now have all spare parts for when the others decide to stop working. It had a row of screws but removing those did not help any. They used glue to make sure it can not be fixed! Reason for not working? One wire was too short so they decided to not connect that and the customer be dammed. Oh well, still a nice day and i learned something again.
  19. Yes but like Crossy said, the only way to get inside is with tools of mass distruction! I have been tinkering with it and some plastic has already broken, time for a hammer i guess.I did find a lose wire but no way to get at it or find out where it belongs.
  20. I know it is Monday but why are you confused?
  21. We have bought almost twenty solar UFO lights over the last two years or so. All bought from the same company and all working fine except for the last one. It just does not work so we phoned the company and they just told us "tough luck",no warranty whatsoever. So we need to get it fixed,it is brand new and has never worked at all. Is there any one who knows where we can take it or send it to have it fixed? I tried to have a look at it but it is not so easy to take apart.Suggestions please?
