The problem here is that there are many Gods ,around 3000 of them. And for some reason people tend to believe in the God that is worshipped in the country that they were born. I find that a bit too convenient. If for some reason all religion and all scientific facts where lost then what would happen? The new religions would be a bit or a lot different then what they are now. On the other hand all Scientific facts will be exactly the same as now. Why? Because facts are facts and they will remain the same. How can you be so sure you are a believer in the one and only true God? I have always found people who claim that to be very arrogant.

Do you think you would ever be happy or able to live there next to her family even if you win the case? They will make your life hell,if they let you live that is. -

Look at it another way,how many kids spent all hours out of school playing some stupid game? At least your daughter is learning something useful. The younger kids are the easier they learn as far as language is concerned,i am not sure about math. You have to keep a close eye on your child. A lot of learning is good, too much is not good. That is your job to figure out. I understand in Thailand if a child does well it gives the parents face, not easy to deal with. -
@Op,how old are you? You seem to think like you are a victim of some sorts. Look at what you all have, much more then a lot of people around you. Not a nervous break down but a depression imo. I have had that for a very long time and i can tell you you need help. When you have a depression even a simple task like making a cup of coffee can seem too much. It is up to you if you are going to get help or not,not easy to get good help in Thailand but being in Thailand was the help i needed for me. You feel like people can see that there is something wrong with you,i get that from some of your other posts. Accept who you are and you will have to make some decisions . Like other people already said,a change of scenery maybe good for you. Start with little things.

That is the way it used to be,hopefully this time it will be better. The new government has to make sure all of its members remain sqeeky clean. Politics all over the world is a mess,it is not about helping the people but mostly about helping your self. Not easy i know, the higher up you get the more you need to make concessions.

The old style government people are scared to death. They will finally have to defend what they have been doing in the past. The courts will be very busy and a lot of people will be moving out of the country along with suitcases full of money. Believe me,for the past two months the former pm has been like a duck in the water. Not much movement on the surface but peddle like crazy under water what can not be seen. Go Pita Go get them!

Like all new things ,the cost will be high initially .It will maybe not eliminate animal suffering 100% but it will reduce it a lot. Like many new things i can understand why it is frowned upon but imo it is a good thing, give it a chance.

A great artist who never got the break he deserved. Better then a lot of artists who shunned him. -
Yes some one said once"It is had to write the blues in the back of a limo" Also without classical music there would be no modern music,so many licks i hear i can find also in a classical piece. Not much new music, just well found and well disguised.

Maybe not all. -
We used to walk every where, now we fly.Is that natural? With the amount of people on the planet there is a need to do something in order to save space and grow more food. What i have been reading about it it would be a great additive to the meat market.

Yes there is no way a guy like putin would let him get away with what happened last week. Could this backfire and prigozhin decides to go back to moscow? That would be a show to see. -
Some people have a more addictive personality,it is all very personal. It can even be in your genes, there are a lot of things we do not know about this.

Certain words in different languages are the same or nearly the same. That is the easy part, the rest is just hard to learn specially when we get older. I find that when i travel a lot and use different languages very soon the confusion or interference seems to fade away. I guess the term"use it or lose it "makes some sense here.
-
Maybe yes and maybe no. The older i get the less words i seem to need. I am starting to mix up different languages and that is a little confusing sometimes. Most English speaking people only speak one language,i think as you say if you read a lot or write(as you do) then it should be not much of a problem On the positive side,my Thai is getting better all the time.

No,attacking and killing civilians is an illegal act of war. After the war is over the guilty parties will get their punishment. Doing the same things as the russians did is not the way to go. I can understand how you feel but there are laws and reacting in anger maybe just what the russians need/want to commit even more illegal acts. They would probably be in the same frame of mind as you are now. The court in The Hague will be a busy place.
