Should I carry passport with me all the time?
jvs replied to parafareno's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Send a copy of your passport and visa to your own e-mail. If you do not carry your passport and if one chance in a million they take you to the police station you will always be able to show it. -
Yes it is a very nice bike! The handle bars are ideal if you go off road and they are also adjustable somewhat. I really have no idea why There are not more types of bikes like this. In the Philippines they have had this type for a long time already and they are very popular there. I saw this bike there many years ago.

I hate to take everything off when you have to fuel up plus i like to design and built stuff. I had to look awhile to find this bike, bought it four months ago. It is a 2006 and it had only 20 000 km on it,everything like new. Service book and everything, the only draw back is it has no electric start but 1 kick and it runs. Yes plenty of power, the newer bikes have no chance. My 115 Spark only foes 90,this one does 125 easily.

Ok, i see.Did you have your ribs x-rayed? Bruising hurts more then breaking and you can wrap them to ease the pain. All part of biking and one of the reasons traveling with more people is usually safer but i also like going alone and do my own thing. I stop where i like and how long i like and luckily there are now more and more camping sites to stay.

I always try to pack my heavy stuff as low as possible on the bike but you are not carrying a lot so you should have no balance problem. I carry around 30kg or so,tent, sleeping bag, mattress and food and water. I considered buying a new bike also this year but the CT125 is too expensive for me and the Suzuki J crossover took too long to become available. I settled for an older bike and it is pretty well ready now. Need to change a few more things but i went for a short trip and it is ok for now.

What is wrong with using a thong ?If you ask nicely somebody will hand you wan.

Very nice report and great pictures. How do you like the CT125?I hear from some friends that it handles well but is lacking in power. I belong to a group that does tours like this a few times per year and some members are out every weekend. You missed to go to Pilok-Etong,very nice place and great riding. We usually do not take hotels but camp some where, usually with a nice view.

No problem for the Thai lady,as long as she has the book she can use the bike and pay tax and have it safety checked. Just wait for your friend to return and then change ownership. If you have the book and the bike it is almost the same as owning it,except you can not sell it.

Noisy neighbors in Thailand? This might happen if you complain
jvs replied to webfact's topic in Bangkok News
When my neighbours (300 meters away) are having one of their all night scream karaoke sessions i am not one to go and complain. Usually around 4 am it gets more quiet, after they unload a few clips into the air. -

Your essential guide to Thailand’s new driving license points system
jvs replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
No that is not what it says,if your license is suspended or confiscated it does still exist but if it was confiscated because you are out of points it kinda gets complicated. Only one point deduction for not stopping at a Zebra crossing, sure that will take care of that problem. Why not take of more points for the things most often ignored and most dangerous? -
Obviously an experienced person,he has got the sequence right. You never know with fastfood.

Here is a nice video about the rise and fall of FTX. They went all out on a lot of things including big contributions to politicians. -
I signed up for justenguitar.com,thank you Des1. I downloaded an app for tuning the guitar and it seems to work pretty well. I am well over 60 years old but i am willing to give it a try,if it does not work out ,there is a family member who wants to be a rockstar. .

I got a Yamaha Pacifica 112V and a Fender Champion 20 watt amp. I already looked a lot on Youtube and there are many different ways and options to learn, nearly too many if you catch my drift. Most go too fast for me,i am an absolute beginner.

Just one time ,even a hint of picking up some kind of weapon and she would be on the pavement before she knows it! I will never accept any kind of violence in my relationship, never. The day she moved in here i told her that. "I will never yell at you or use violence and you will never do that to me" Still works.

Assault on Kiev: Russian helicopters swoop above Ukraine's capital
jvs replied to Chris.B's topic in The War in Ukraine
Very disturbing detailed intercepted phone call from a Russian soldier to his mother. She even said she is just like him, scary if you think about it. -
