  1. I came here to retire 20 years ago,i am living near Cha-am. Seventeen years in the same spot and love it.
  2. Sounds like enough to keep you out of trouble. Do you live here?
  3. 3d printing is very interesting, maybe in the near future we do not need to buy small things anymore, all you will need is the program to print what you want. Pay for the program and print it yourself,or go to the local print shop.
  4. Make sure you time machine has a battery pack,
  5. In that order i assume?
  6. You are a busy person, when will you finish your autobiography?
  7. So you are not living in Thailand then?
  8. We have a few rabbits also but not in the house, already too many birds in the house.
  9. That is one thing you need not worry about, some one will remind you soon enough!
  10. I wish every one to stay save and not have any flooding troubles but here in the cha-am area we really need some rain.
  11. There are a lot of retired people on here and i guess a lot of people have hobbies but also a lot of people seem to be bored What keeps you busy? We have a big garden and a lot of animals, some times i do not even go out for a week. And you?
  12. The problem here is that there are many Gods ,around 3000 of them. And for some reason people tend to believe in the God that is worshipped in the country that they were born. I find that a bit too convenient. If for some reason all religion and all scientific facts where lost then what would happen? The new religions would be a bit or a lot different then what they are now. On the other hand all Scientific facts will be exactly the same as now. Why? Because facts are facts and they will remain the same. How can you be so sure you are a believer in the one and only true God? I have always found people who claim that to be very arrogant.
  13. What do they expect to gain? My guess is a lot of money?
  14. But there are bargirls there, your hands will smell like shxt all the time!
  15. Do you think you would ever be happy or able to live there next to her family even if you win the case? They will make your life hell,if they let you live that is.
  16. You took that out of context, you used "99.9 %" that is math also right?
  17. Look at it another way,how many kids spent all hours out of school playing some stupid game? At least your daughter is learning something useful. The younger kids are the easier they learn as far as language is concerned,i am not sure about math. You have to keep a close eye on your child. A lot of learning is good, too much is not good. That is your job to figure out. I understand in Thailand if a child does well it gives the parents face, not easy to deal with.
  18. @Op,how old are you? You seem to think like you are a victim of some sorts. Look at what you all have, much more then a lot of people around you. Not a nervous break down but a depression imo. I have had that for a very long time and i can tell you you need help. When you have a depression even a simple task like making a cup of coffee can seem too much. It is up to you if you are going to get help or not,not easy to get good help in Thailand but being in Thailand was the help i needed for me. You feel like people can see that there is something wrong with you,i get that from some of your other posts. Accept who you are and you will have to make some decisions . Like other people already said,a change of scenery maybe good for you. Start with little things.
  19. That is the way it used to be,hopefully this time it will be better. The new government has to make sure all of its members remain sqeeky clean. Politics all over the world is a mess,it is not about helping the people but mostly about helping your self. Not easy i know, the higher up you get the more you need to make concessions.
  20. The old style government people are scared to death. They will finally have to defend what they have been doing in the past. The courts will be very busy and a lot of people will be moving out of the country along with suitcases full of money. Believe me,for the past two months the former pm has been like a duck in the water. Not much movement on the surface but peddle like crazy under water what can not be seen. Go Pita Go get them!
  21. Negotiation is the word.
  22. Like all new things ,the cost will be high initially .It will maybe not eliminate animal suffering 100% but it will reduce it a lot. Like many new things i can understand why it is frowned upon but imo it is a good thing, give it a chance.
