  1. Well as an ex wood worker i can say he still has a good chance to not get injured. Did you look at the saw? lol.
  2. Certain words in different languages are the same or nearly the same. That is the easy part, the rest is just hard to learn specially when we get older. I find that when i travel a lot and use different languages very soon the confusion or interference seems to fade away. I guess the term"use it or lose it "makes some sense here.
  3. Maybe yes and maybe no. The older i get the less words i seem to need. I am starting to mix up different languages and that is a little confusing sometimes. Most English speaking people only speak one language,i think as you say if you read a lot or write(as you do) then it should be not much of a problem On the positive side,my Thai is getting better all the time.
  4. No,attacking and killing civilians is an illegal act of war. After the war is over the guilty parties will get their punishment. Doing the same things as the russians did is not the way to go. I can understand how you feel but there are laws and reacting in anger maybe just what the russians need/want to commit even more illegal acts. They would probably be in the same frame of mind as you are now. The court in The Hague will be a busy place.
  5. Yes i believe that is true. I also believe if i had that kind of money lying around i would by myself a nice island some where.
  6. No matter what kind of drugs he was on,the parents are also to blame.
  7. Sure but that is not what the Op has in mind.
  8. Yes but then you still won't be allowed to do any work, working in a restaurant is a protected occupation.
  9. Under the Treaty you still will not be allowed to do work,it only applies to ownership of the company.
  10. There are big differences about what you can do or not. If the place is a private residence you can do all kinds of things, mow the lawn, paint the fence, cook your own food and all kinds of maintenance and building. If the place is a commercial operation you are not even allowed to turn down the volume of the radio. Immigration is one thing to watch out for but if you have some one who is jealous or who does not like you ,you are toast.
  11. Op,this is just an example of how you react. Let it go man, life will be much easier.
  12. We ,being foreigners here stick out as a sore thumb. This means we get looked at and graded(judged) by the way we look and act. Our looks are what they are,how we act we can control. I have been here for a little while now and sometimes i also get treated with disdain.Mostly only just one person. The rest is fine and there for my day is good. I always try to be nice and respectful and in a full bus i will call people out and invite them to sit beside me. That works! Speak a little bit of Thai and smile a lot,it works! Where i live most people know me and i feel i am treated like just another person by them. OP,you seem to be too sensitive and care too much how you are perceived by others. Try the lite approach, relax and stop worrying.
  13. Nice try but no cigar.
  14. This guy is very busy,he can be at two places at the same time.
  15. So can you tell me whats wrong here?
  16. Penicillin comes from a lab,you sure you never ever used that?
  17. Whose lies?I assume the orange man's?
  18. No it is real meat but grown in a controlled environment. Why would that be un healthy? It would probably be better for your body also. Like they can grow organs in a lab already to replace one that does not work any more.
  19. Big difference between lab grown (real) meat and a veggie burger. I think it will be the future to grow meat in a lab or factory. It will be exactly the same but without bones ,skin and veins. This will free up a lot of land and this can be used to grow food for people instead of cows. Also will be much better for the planet. Price is still high but that is the same with everything new. Bring it on!
  20. Yes you are right but like i said before it is a very individual process. You learn what your limits are and you go from there, use or abuse.
  21. There is the line between use and abuse the same goes for any drug use. Too much coffee will give you negative effects and there are also withdrawal symptoms if you stop drinking coffee. It is up to each individual how to use or abuse drugs.
  22. Yes a lot going on behind the scenes. Not looking good for russia at all but great for the the Ukrainian people. Lots of videos on Youtube about this already. More to come i am sure.
  23. Really?Another very old debunked believe that is still doing the rounds i see. No,no and no!
