So it will immediately be available on the streets from non qualified vendors.
i cannot see Xanax being a problem. It is hardly a knockout drug- more like a mild sedative. Also it tastes bitter as hell. Any coke (....acola) with that in it will definitely taste strange. And you would need several pills to drop a normal adult.

Hub this hub that.
It's the hub of hubs.
Tiring to hear such nonsense.
lets do an official hub count: I try to go back 20 years- please help add the many hububs I missed
Banking and finance
E-commerce
car manufacturing
filmmaking
video game production
rail car production
air travel
aircraft maintenance
telecommunications
food production
ethanol production
international education
printing
medical services
logistics
electricity trading
Ironically, the hub for which Thailand is truly world famous may not be mentioned, for fear the culture ministry will get upset

The whole of Thailand is watching ...
For once can the justice overcome fame and wealth?
Failure, in this case, is not an option.
.
Does that make a difference?
Mu Ham yesterday got off with a 2 year suspended sentence and mandatory psychiatric treatment. He only deliberately ran over and killed a peasant who got in his way, after a bus scatched his mercedes.
The fact that his mum was an ex beauty queen and his dad a very senior ex police officer had NOTHING to do with it. It seems the boy can't control his anger, poor thing.
Maybe Mr Red Bull can't control his need for speed/cocaine/alcohol, poor thing........

Generals get paid pretty well in Thailand.
And there are an awful lot of them: thai armed forces have around 1600 generals. That amounts to 1 general per armoured fighting vehicle!!!!

The facts are this he got his head kicked in by the American Marine and somehow managed to loss his dog at the Longfelows house.
7/11 is giving out free knifes to kill people with
This pitbull bum bandit looses his dog around the home of the American that kicked the crap out of him and he ACCIDENTLY stabs the guy twice
The british A**hole has still not located his dog,,, he left his dog behind when he took off back to England,,, didn't seem to worry about the dog
7/11 has cctv of him stealing the knife
Garbidge brit is seen outside of Sunshine bar when Longfellow was dancing after kicking the crap out of British garbidge
This British guy needs to spend the rest of his life in Thai prison just to work on his BS and grow a brain......................
I take it you are not British, my dear fellow..,,...

It's too simplistic to say prostitution is illegal in Thailand. Paying money for sex between two consenting adults, as long as it's not conducted in a "promiscuous" manner, is not illegal.
I never pay for sex.... but I often leave a tip.

This is the most stupid biased and uninformed article i have read in awhile
To the author; wake up moron!!
The real embarrasment is Thai pplitics, where a politician famous for ear-ache says that giving gifts to police is culturally ingrained in Thai society, and therefore acceptable. That should be world news, not the fact that there are a lot of hookers in Thailnad

Nothing wrong with horse meat. We are carnivores. The largest and best T-bone steak I ever ate was in Cap d'Antibes in the S. of France. It was horse, and delicious.
I would have more reservations eating chocolate covered cockroach again, however. (- - or MacDonalds!)
Horse Tartar: really delicious, much better than beef.

If immigration have any sense they'll put him on the next plane back to the UK
On the contrary, he will fit in extremely well here. Pa'ya springs to mind!

I agree with the Thai government, as much as possible of these chemical shit products from Pfizer and similar companies must be banned. Chemicals in your body can never give you any benifit.
This sort of comment always baffles me - your body is made 100% out of "chemicals" - and even if you were to narrow it to "exogenous chemicals" then I would just have to wonder if you plan to never eat or drink anything.
Ban testosterone: that leads to sex crimes .

Mt Thaksin and others were talking to the operators of Macau casinos in 2005 with a view to opening Thailand's first casino in the Chiang Mai province, one of Mr Thaksin's sisters attended the meeting.
The 2006 coup put an end to that.
I think we can safely assume that negotiations are on again. And it makes sense,Thailand is bleeding gambling money to every other country that surrounds it.
Does it really make a difference? The government has no place protecting people from themselves.
Let Darwinism take its course: some will be poorer, some will be richer. The only hope is that some revenue gets channelled into improving the education system, but that is very doubtful. In the end, the only winners in the present system are the police and operators abroad, and the poor are screwed in any case.

Well, well, well I finally found someone else living in thailand other than me that has never had contact with a sex worker
. We are few and far between my friend.
Personally, the only reason I have contact with sex workers is to learn the language, so that I can appreciate the many temples for which I pay a multiple of the Thai price, fine beaches, and negotiate with police when I get shaken down for non existent traffic offences.

Ethics in Thailand? When did that happen?
The concept of "right" and "wrong" just does not exist here.
Always wemember, my fwend, that two wongs never make a wight.

Of course this is an issue. When you have well run businesses, run by people who understand the international markets, the concepts of correct and intelligent marketing, and the elements involved in competitive pricing, and customer service, the Thai businesses simply cannot compete. So, when you cannot compete, what do you do? You try to eliminate the competition. But, from what I hear, it was a Thai operator here, who was doing the local trade, So, it seems that the issue is simply the right to overcharge for a service. When the Phuket insects are getting 200 baht for a 1.5km ride, and 1,000 baht for a ride to and from the airport, there is a lot of room for improvement. But, unfortunately, as usual, the authorities do not have the wisdom to see the benefits of service, over extreme profits. Nobody minds a decent profit. Everybody minds extortion. Let us find a scapegoat. Who will lose in the end?mthe tourists who are supporting Thailand's tourism industry.
I think the governor of Phuket might not be aware of how many ex-tourists have blacklisted Phuket on account of the taxi scams, including this one.......Once bitten, twice shy.

No doubt he'll make bail in no time. Not like he's a flight risk or anything....
Everyone should have a little thai court in their pocket. Justice in Thailand is a lovely gadget. Handy, affordable, and convenient for those that matter.

I would say that most shops, department stores and convenience stores in Thailand are run by Thai chinese, and clearly the only way to motivate chinese thais is through their pocket book.
Put a tax on plastic bags, and within a year, 7/11 will be asking you if you really want a plastic bag, rather than giving you two for safety, plus a drinking straw just in case.
EASY!
Put a recycle/scrap value on plastic bags - the place would be picked clean overnight!

Its the way people get ahead in business.
Eliminate the competition.
Yes, but it could also be from a failed relationship.
Yes, the top 2 reasons to call in the hit man - love and/or business ie money.
RIP the unlucky lady.
Basically, love - including love of money.
In thailand love of face is also very powerful, certainly enough to murder

Welcome to Baht Justice.
Additional information money had been added to the case files account shortly before New Year. We will make a decision on the case very soon,’’ Mr Kitjaruk said.

Apologies if I insulted any street hookers: in my experience they have some morals
