  1. Have you not heard of auto-translate? Laz obviously too cheap to pay the license fee to Google.
  2. Meh. You can book a refundable onward flight on your smartphone, or ask for a supervisor and politely state your case/sign waiver etc.
  3. Possibly. Thankfully I found a way to retire early so don't have to worry about that sort of nonsense anymore ????
  4. Yeah they suck big time but I still use Windows 11 at home because it's what I know after working with it since 1990 or so. At work the BSOD and other issues were a great excuse to waste an hour or two at the company's expense. At home they're just freaking annoying! ????
  5. The way that my company introduced us to Office 365 was via demo that was browser-based and all the normal keyboard shortcuts didn't work. I've only ever accessed GSheets via Android or via desktop browser. Is there a stand-alone version of it that I missed?
  6. Fair enough. But I was using Excel 8 hours a day every day, or that's what my timesheet said, so I'd have got nothing done without keyboard shortcuts. They were talking about introducing Office 365 just before I left, I nearly had a bloody heart attack. Try wrangling a 65 column, 300,000 row spreadsheet with just the mouse.
  7. So why are you calling a 60 day visa a 90 day visa? Unless you're trolling. Added to the list. Kthxbye.
  8. Man I hate Google Sheets! I'm an Excel user because of work and can't get anything done without keyboard shortcuts. It pains me when I have to switch to the mouse ????
  9. Thanks also to @Slipfor showing me that you don't need to use an extra set of parantheses around "A14+A15". In the other thread that is. AN website up to its usual tricks ????
  10. Also "fake news", an onward flight ticket will suffice and as we've mentioned that check is usually performed by the airline.
  11. LOL you still don't get it; you have 3 months from the date the visa is issued to enter the Kingdom. If you don't use it by the "VALID UNTIL" date then it expires and cannot be used. That's what UJ is describing in the text you've quoted. If you arrive by the VALID UNTIL date you will be stamped in for an initial permission to stay of 60 days and the visa will be marked USED. That's how it works. End of.
  12. Sure they do. My buddy managed to get four lanes of peak hour traffic to stop for us at a zebra crossing in Chinatown a few months back. It was scary as hell and I think at least one motosai popped through, as expected, but all the cars stopped and we got across fine.
  13. Thanks, very useful tip. Excel user because of my old job so still getting used to Sheets (I use it on my phone for fairly simple calculations).
  14. It's neither 90 days nor 3 months (there's a difference). It's 60 days. Extendable once by 30 days; extensions are at the discretion of the local Immigration Officer although in practice you'd have to be doing something very wrong to get rejected. I think you might be confusing the "enter before" period (3 mths) with the initial permission to stay granted by the Single Entry Tourist Visa (60 days).
  15. Thank you very much and yes I can use that option. I found out about that after reading @GroveHillWanderer's post. I tried it out on a replay and the video on my phone was a nice smooth 1080p. However when I cast it to the Samsung UHD/HDR panel from my Galaxy S22+ using Sammy SmartView I found that the video was a bit "stuttery". Still watchable but not quite as enjoyable as unbuffered, high bitrate 1080p or 2160p streaming. Maybe next World Cup Live matches are only 720p but I guess that's better than nothing. I'll use this method when I find a match that I really want to watch. Or go to the pub if it's an early game, Bangkok seems to have no shortage of sports bars. It's a shame that True don't have a TV app that I can use to stream at 4K. I'd have been happy to pay a couple thou just for the World Cup.
  16. This should work but test it anyway... =IF(A14+A15<2000,521.8,0)
  17. Yes, that's how it works and it's why we call it a 60 day visa. Go take a look at a picture of an SETV on Google, nowhere does it mention 90 days. It doesn't mention 60 days either; that is inferred from the "TR" visa class.
  18. Are you able to share a photo of it with the class? Sensitive info redacted of course. I've yet to see any pics of the new e-visa. Ps. Please ????????
  19. From what I'm reading the conscripts are just cannon fodder. They're sent to the front lines and must do as commanded or get shot by the second line of troops, who in turn will get shot by the third line if they disobey orders. I thank the new gods and the old that I'm not a young Russian male.
  20. Why the heck is a necropsy? I guess that's my project for today, gotta full in the hours somehow until 11 am ????
  21. That sounds similar to the Jakarta "magic hand" technique. But I don't know if it ruffles feathers here or not so I rarely use it.
  22. There's been a few recent posts on this subject. Scroll through the last 3 pages of this branch (Thai Visas, Residency and Work Permits). They should be easy to spot.
  23. I'll be there for Melly Klitmat, thanks for the warning.
