Nobody on this forum has uploaded a copy of a Tourist e-Visa so I don't know how it compares to the good old one page sticker which never showed such detail. Does it show any of this info? I doubt it, and the IO at Swampy won't have access to it on his system anyway as it is held with the consulate in Canada. So you should have no problem using your visa before it's use-by date. Come on over and have a great trip.

Agent discount for legit extension?

Other recommendations for Pattaya-based agents in this thread, but you'll have to wade through a lot of "agents are bad mmkay?" comments to find the info ???? https://aseannow.com/topic/1264956-pattaya-visa-agent-recommendation/ -

Agent discount for legit extension?
Lemsta69 replied to Alain Folly's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
why pay an agent when... nah just kidding. yes it should be cheaper for an agent to provide the "non-workaround" extension service. Maneerat on Soi Post in Pattaya have a very good reputation and quite reasonable prices for the "full Monty" (12.5k-14k) but I don't know what their discount is for a non-workaround extension. https://m.facebook.com/maneerat.fon.0818630320/ -
I use a password manager called BitWarden but that's not a perfect solution either.

Was refused to leave Thailand
Lemsta69 replied to Hellfire's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Ban Laem immigration officers are the shady ones. "Too many visas" isn't sufficient reason for them to deny him re-entry to Thailand and he hasn't used up his two land entries per calender year. And how shady is refusing to let him exit the country without a valid reason? An actual legal reason not just something they pulled out of their jacksy. -
anyone using faster then 1 gigabyte internet ?

I can relate to this! Running Ookla speed tests on my True 500/500 fibre connection makes me so happy ????. It's virtually impossible to get that kind of speed back in Australia because of the way the government stuffed up the national broadband network rollout. -
Perhaps the OP is intending to go clubbing this weekend. If he's unlucky he might be in a club that gets raided by the Captain Killjoy who is leading a crackdown at the moment. "As for overstaying foreigners, Nantawut warned that police would be inspecting documents and passports of tourists to ensure they were not overstaying and encouraged all tourists to at the bare minimum have a legible copy of their recent documentation including their passport stamps with them at all times." “From now on, at 1:00 A.M. every single day dozens of police and relevant officers are patrolling to enforce these seven rules and encourage venues to close on time every day. I am personally patrolling myself every Friday and Saturday to ensure the legal closing times are obeyed.” Nantawut said. https://thepattayanews.com/2022/11/19/region-2-police-promise-stricter-enforcement-of-seven-rules-for-entertainment-venues-say-no-to-later-closing-for-world-cup/

Thai Visa Expert, any experiences good or bad?
Lemsta69 replied to eboy's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Oh well if you want hand-holding and you're in the Pattaya area then it's pointless to use this TVE mob if they're saying they'll use Chaeng Wattana (Bangkok). You need to apply for the non-O in the province that you live in or they might not process your one-year extension. Use a well-respected Pattaya agent instead, or just do it yourself. -

It depends on what service you will be asking the agent to provide. Are you using them for filling in forms and hand-holding or will you be going the Full Monty? -

Entering Thailand after deportation
Lemsta69 replied to cecilie Hansen's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Interesting, thanks for that. I thought was a Thai letter that was an abbreviation of the word for "visa exempt". -
I'm not really into soccer but I do like watching the occasional World Cup match. It's a shame that I can't buy a WC-only package from True so I can stream the games at 1080i (or higher) over my True 500/500 fibre connection. As free of course. And then I woke up! ???? The organisers went to all this trouble to get the best pictures and sound but all for nowt it seems, as far as Thailand goes... https://www.sportsvideo.org/2022/11/18/fifa-world-cup-2022-overview-of-fifa-world-cup-match-coverage-plans/

Entering Thailand after deportation
Lemsta69 replied to cecilie Hansen's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Ignore the haters, they be jealous. Most of them are on "proper" visas and don't seem to like it when the young folk "come and go as they please" ???? Good luck with your trip, and please let us know how you get on when you do make it back over. Firsthand accounts help us to build our knowledge base. I'm particularly interested in whether that previous refusal of entry is still flagged in the Immigration database and if so what kind of hassle did they give you, if any as a result? -
Did you even bother watching the two videos? They're not doing the raids on foreign tourist-oriented clubs. The one that have been raided are frequented mostly by Thais and they would (or should) be used to the idea of the possibility of being drug-tested because this sort of thing has been happening in those types of clubs for donkey's years. The new big boss of Region 2 police who has decided to "take over" from Pattaya/Chonburi police has been quoted as saying a copy of your passport is fine. Another poster said that he was in a gg-go bar on LK Metro and it was raised by the BiB but they targeted only staff. So unless Pol. Maj. Gen Nantawut Suwanlaong starts shutting down Walking Street or Treetown at 6pm then there's absolutely nothing to worry about. As for your never being pee-tested, well you need to get out more. It's a thing here, Jakarta too. And just like the Full Moon Party on KPN, a few randoms getting busted for drugs doesn't stop the hordes returning month after month. PS. have you ever even been to Pattaya?

Entering Thailand after deportation
Lemsta69 replied to cecilie Hansen's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
What's even funnier about that clownish comment is that the OP already did get a new passport but still had problems. "Ever since I’ve had problems entering. I eventually get in, but I’m always in the immigration office for an hour. I have a new passport, but they see it in the system."
