Thai Visa Expert, any experiences good or bad?
Lemsta69 replied to eboy's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
It depends on what service you will be asking the agent to provide. Are you using them for filling in forms and hand-holding or will you be going the Full Monty? -

This is the working theory, as posited by Ubonjoe... https://aseannow.com/topic/1278369-was-refused-to-leave-thailand/?do=findComment&comment=17739212 -

Entering Thailand after deportation
Lemsta69 replied to cecilie Hansen's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Interesting, thanks for that. I thought was a Thai letter that was an abbreviation of the word for "visa exempt". -
I'm not really into soccer but I do like watching the occasional World Cup match. It's a shame that I can't buy a WC-only package from True so I can stream the games at 1080i (or higher) over my True 500/500 fibre connection. As free of course. And then I woke up! ???? The organisers went to all this trouble to get the best pictures and sound but all for nowt it seems, as far as Thailand goes... https://www.sportsvideo.org/2022/11/18/fifa-world-cup-2022-overview-of-fifa-world-cup-match-coverage-plans/

Entering Thailand after deportation
Lemsta69 replied to cecilie Hansen's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Ignore the haters, they be jealous. Most of them are on "proper" visas and don't seem to like it when the young folk "come and go as they please" ???? Good luck with your trip, and please let us know how you get on when you do make it back over. Firsthand accounts help us to build our knowledge base. I'm particularly interested in whether that previous refusal of entry is still flagged in the Immigration database and if so what kind of hassle did they give you, if any as a result? -
Did you even bother watching the two videos? They're not doing the raids on foreign tourist-oriented clubs. The one that have been raided are frequented mostly by Thais and they would (or should) be used to the idea of the possibility of being drug-tested because this sort of thing has been happening in those types of clubs for donkey's years. The new big boss of Region 2 police who has decided to "take over" from Pattaya/Chonburi police has been quoted as saying a copy of your passport is fine. Another poster said that he was in a gg-go bar on LK Metro and it was raised by the BiB but they targeted only staff. So unless Pol. Maj. Gen Nantawut Suwanlaong starts shutting down Walking Street or Treetown at 6pm then there's absolutely nothing to worry about. As for your never being pee-tested, well you need to get out more. It's a thing here, Jakarta too. And just like the Full Moon Party on KPN, a few randoms getting busted for drugs doesn't stop the hordes returning month after month. PS. have you ever even been to Pattaya?

Entering Thailand after deportation
Lemsta69 replied to cecilie Hansen's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
What's even funnier about that clownish comment is that the OP already did get a new passport but still had problems. "Ever since I’ve had problems entering. I eventually get in, but I’m always in the immigration office for an hour. I have a new passport, but they see it in the system." -

I'm looking at my December 2021-issued TM6 now, cannot see a field for departure date. -

Can you please translate the Thai script for me Joe? What does the letter in front of 30/45 in the "Visa Class" section mean? -

Departure card shows future leaving date
Lemsta69 replied to timoti's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
That's correct but it is only until from 1 October 2022 to 31 March 2023. Perhaps they extend the program if it proves to be successful. -
Departure card shows future leaving date
Lemsta69 replied to timoti's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
It could be mislaid national pride, resentment, boredom, sheer wilfulness or any number of other reasons. But I reckon they must get a great kick out of doing it. Imagine being the significant other of one of the types and having to listen to all the war stories at the dinner table? ???? -
Was refused to leave Thailand
Lemsta69 replied to Hellfire's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Yes, we should consider it normal and acceptable behaviour otherwise we'll go mad trying to fight it ???? Blaming the end user is of course ridiculous and you're right to get upset about that. -
Was refused to leave Thailand
Lemsta69 replied to Hellfire's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Thanks for the explanation, it's starting to make more sense now. Usually people who intend to do out/in border bounces don't plan for contingencies like getting denied re-entry to Thailand and may not have the resources to make it from the border to Phnom Penh for a tourist visa etc They don't want to strand the guy in rural Cambodia with no chance of getting back in so refusing exit is the order of two evils. -
