Sad situation caused by extreme negligence, greed, mismanagement and the Im alright Jack attitude that prevails.

Actively encouraged!
The big six richest Chinese Thais control the private hospital networks along with the building projects and factories that import illegal untested workers across porous boarders.
Hence when the authorities accidently catch a few at a boarder and they publish the hoorah story , their is never any further information as to exactly which factory or project these illegals were heading to having paid up front for the employment.

Moderna vaccines are on schedule to arrive in the fourth quarter and are receiving full support from the state so that they may be distributed nationwide. The same support is being given to the import of Antigen Test Kits.
Full support for what? a mark up on the already ludicrous price of 350 baht each, a days wages for the poor or not if they are out of work.....feed the family or buy a home covid test kit?
Wasnt it also mandated and published a few months back that private hospitals had to test for Covid and treat free of cost for all Thai nationals.......yet a private hospital in my areas is advertising in Thai tests at 3500 baht each and another private hospital is charging 3900 baht....obviously just a misunderstanding !

Front line medical staff throughout the country should be the first recipients of a decent vaccine but the list of shoulds is endless with clueless megalomaniac goons running the show.

Thailand also had plans for a democratically elected government and to eradicate endemic corruption but neither of these plans have even remotely materialized.

If they can give vaccines to private hospitals to administer for free in Bangkok, why the hell cant they also supply a couple of hospitals in each major hub city around the country with a simple registration process......its not rocket science or a logistical nightmare and since interprovincial travel is on hold its just plain common sense.

indeed how difficult would it have been to enquire about the actual number of Brits in Thailand and arrange for an additional amount to cover this, the French did this with ease using Bkk hospitals nationwide and it takes some burden off the already stretched to the limit Thai health system.

How ridiculous was that praise, for a policy of making testing very difficult to obtain, the average Thai with symptoms was more likely to be sent home with paracetamol than be given a test unless they paid at a private facility.
Negligent testing policies and monitoring followed by totally inadequate planning for vaccine procurement and roll out deserved only the most damning criticism.

Will they also be available in pharmacies at 350 baht each as is the current situation.
How are low earning or out of work Thais expected to pay nearly a days wages for something that should be free?
Many would prefer to feed their families rather than pay this for a home covid test.

Spot on!! sensational reporting for a reaction to keep up the numbers!!
Much easier to run a thread with photos of the provocative immoral short skirts and tight blouses uniforms of students at university...... a guarantee of a huge response of outrage by us readers after extensive viewing and confirmation.

Thanks, will buy another kit and be more careful.

Bought an antigen test kit and went through the procedure, however at the end stage instead of putting 4 drops in the test well, i managed to deposit the full amount.... bad eyesight I guess.
The C line appeared quickly and I then waited 30 minutes no other line was showing so technically a negative test.
However with all the fluid from the vile deposited in the receiving well instead of a few drops is the test best disregarded or could it still be accurate.?
Thanks.

Thank you very much UK. As an aging Brit with 3 of the 7 health problems listed for priority vaccination, can I put in a bid for 2 doses please! Have been refused registration umpteen times here in Khon Kaen!
Yep in the same boat here in KK as the cases increase daily it would be great if their were some plans for a vaccination program for us over sixties high risk groups not in Bangkok.

Dont the USA and other European countries have a huge surplus of vaccines.
If we forget the lunatics need for back handers and buying the Chinese gunk for a moment.
Isnt it possible otherwise to procure enough decent vaccines for 70 million within a month get them distributed around the country and job done........if it means saving lives and stopping the thousands waiting for hospital care from increasing.
May be real logistical reasons why this is not possible as in their simply arent 70 million vaccines available right now anywhere for immediate shipment.

With that kind of investment why dont you test drive or rent a few to see how you feel.

Maybe a taxi to the mainland and a train to Bkk then to Khon kaen IF they are still running?

adding that the government will provide 8.5 million kits to the public.
At only 350 baht each in the pharmacies now.... every poor or out of work Thai family should buy a few instead of eating, maybe the morning scroungers will have to do without their free food as well.

What's the difference a group of people in a bar or a group of people in a supermarket. No difference in terms of covid.
This just isnt true, covid is a bit of a player. likes to go out after 9pm to a few bars and girly clubs, tends to sleep during the day and doesnt bother much with supermarkets, the skytrain, buses or shopping malls or many resorts in Phuket also owned by the rich Chinese Thais controlling the country.

Talking to a visa agent yesterday who said the covid sixty days is an extension of your current visa.
Im my case with a years retirement extension about to expire which i dont want to immediately extend for a year, i can do a sixty days extension based on covid without the the O visa actually expiring.
I would then still be able to apply for a full years extension after the sixty days are up if my plans change without applying from scratch for a new non O etc and having the expense associated with that.
Is this scenario correct? if so it allows me the flexibility to help with my indecision.
Thanks.

Never mind, Im alright Jack and his band of greedy barstewards dont give a toss, more concerned with appeasing the pay masters by opening sandboxes and procurement of sinovac.
I home Karma reaches out to the evil few and they eventually get what they deserve.

Find a pharmacy or two ask for antigen covid test kit, if now available here in Issan albeit overpriced I am sure they will be available in Pattaya.

Found a test kit at my local pharmacy but with instructions in Thai only the price 350 baht.
People being turned away from free hospital testing and the average poorly paid or out of work Thai is surely going to choose feeding the family over paying a few hundred baht for a home test kit that should be freely available to Thais at least.
I guess despite statements to the contrary the policy of making testing difficult continues.

what about the policy of forcing asymptomatic foreigners into field hospitals at their own expense??
Is that actually happening? surely now we have the option to home isolate especially if using a home test kit .
