79 and living in Pattaya, does that mean I'm bottom of the list? Patience? It's only a year since the virus struck, so I guess another year won't hurt.

Try this site its how many of us have already received a vaccine.

ThailandIntervac.com : The Office of International Cooperation, Department of Disease Control ,Ministry of Public Health Thailand

Click on the Bangkok Hospital Pattaya link and follow through with the next buttons until you reach registration etc .....no visa photos nonsense to upload, was working well a few days ago.

You definitely qualify by age alone a priority.

    Good luck

  2. Pattaya reopening delayed to October as slow vaccine rollout stalls progress

Err could it be a worldwide pandemic that the junta chose to mainly ignore for a year has in fact stopped the opening as any sane person would expect.

Why this ludicrous assumption that Thailand wont be effected and will receive exemption from Covid because of its dependency on the tourist industry.

Vaccinate the whole population with a decent vaccine and provide adequate medical facilities for all then rebuild tourism.

  3. He needs a negative test and to fill out a passenger locator form on the brit government website showing two pre booked and paid for day 2 and day 8 tests of his return, he books and pays for those online before departure gets a reference number applies it to passenger locator form along with his address in Uk for self quarantine 10 days.

Red, amber and green list rules for entering England - GOV.UK (www.gov.uk)

Thailand is an amber list country all info in link above website

To clarify yes a negative PCR covid test cerificate required at check in and the passenger locator form booking reference number for the two tests in the Uk day 2 and day 8 and the receipt for tests if possible, although havng the reference number from the booking is the only official requirement along with negative covid test certificate.

    Good luck

I am in the same sinking ship.  Bangkok Airways is selling tickets for late August and Thai Smile is also selling tickets starting August 20(?????).  Air Asia has canceled all domestic flights until August 31.  I too have an international flight out of BKK in less than 2 weeks and I am in CNX.  At this time it looks like I will have to spend between 7,000 to 10,000 baht for a "ride" to BKK.  This is outrageous because my Thai Smile one way from CNX to BKK was 900 Baht.  TIT, 555 and once I leave I am seeing fewer and fewer reasons to come back to the Land of Smiles(also did ASQ once in BKK this year and doubt I want to do it again).  Good luck to all those who have to travel domestically because you will need it.

I think i read on a previous thread not long ago that their was still one bus a day from Cnx to Bkk.

Might be worth enquiring, could be a great saving.
