  1. Guess that the police will first check the legality of her status/employment in the country. A sniff of the bt200 K should be enough to start with.
  2. Hope we see pictures of them pointing at where it sank.....
  3. Shame....but they wouldn't let me on the plane with my chainsaw !????
  4. Exactly, and especially now that the T &G Program has been shelved, as much as anything because of the implementation/admin issues. Immigration are not normally interested/concerned with your insurance or vax status, only the details in your passport.
  5. Shared the same minivan perhaps....or contracted it at the hotel. Curiously this hotel appears not to have been publicly named !
  6. Don't need 'em, nor jetskis, every man and his dog seem to own a base-thumping, sub-woofing contraption !
  7. Don't see your point . As I said it's a problem for those individuals, and not a nice one...but there's a far greater control if quarantine is in place to begin with.
  8. It's only really been a problem for those individuals. Subsequently testing positive after roaming legally and freely around the Kingdom then makes it everyone's issue . Test & Go was always a gamble by all sides.
  9. Yes, but isn't that what the 24hr test & go {or not) "quarantine" on arrival was supposed to (inadequately as it appears) check for ?
  10. And , presumably "tested and released" from Bkk . Perhaps these were the follow up day 5 ? tests.
  11. If it can make your skin turn yellow, then I can't really see it catching on !????
  12. Hepatitus is a possible side-effect.....that will just go away ?
  13. They need them to justify wearing all their Boy Scout medals.
  14. He's been nobbled by that Air Force chap and his need for newer fighter aircraft !
  15. Love 'em, especially those with the hint of 4 o'clock shadow on the top lip ! ????
  16. Surely the 7295 represents only those cases admitted ? Otherwise, statistically , it's of no value publishing this figure alongside the number "released" 2895.
  17. Well, you'd be welcome to try, since, if my homestead had become host to an obviously well-known tourist site, ("At the time of the incident there were 30 others there who paid the fee ") then I'd be either happy to play along with it or It shows that I simply have no interest what-so-ever in what's happening there.
  18. I thought the same when I saw the "wiring" on the bridge, and the sign reminded me of some of the un-official parking spots where locals try to charge you essentially for "protecting" your vehicle !
  19. Shame....a harmless piece of enterprise, which it seems, many have previously benefitted from. A proper or "official looking" sign would have helped though !
  20. Perhaps these individuals are finding that they are increasingly becoming more scrutinised and held "accountable" for their actions and therefore less able to illicit dubious untraceable payments. Social media and dash-cams not exactly being their friends. 30 million missing, unsuspecting, potential victims not a great help either.
  21. ...and with this statement he's protecting/justifying his position for the next 10 years !
  22. Agree with your sentiments, however, the very basics of the language are not going to help much in these situations. Nor is it any fault of the hotel staff, who have been handed the onerous task of dealing with these situations and procedures.
