How long should battery last from new in my 3.2 ltr diesel pick-up.

My usage is less than 6000 km per year and only short journeys with A/C on full.?

And what price should I be looking at to replace it with a good named brand.?

Pattaya to Krabi 910 km return = 1820 km say pickup truck does 10 km to one ltr ..that;s 182 ltr of diesel at 29,9 baht = 5441 baht in fuel and add 20% for were and tear to vehicle = 6530 baht +...1200 baht .two day min wage for 2 works = 7730 baht + 300 baht for room over night for 2 worker =8030.baht

+ 1000 tip for a job well done with no breakages.

A quote of 10.000 doesn't seem to over the top to me .

I'm sure it's worth investing USD $2,000 in the latest technology to avoid a 200 baht fine!

I bought one(Video Camera) on special offer from Tukcom ฿ 800 ... and after only 7 months it's paid for itself....

When I get stopped now I just point at the camera them turn it to look at the Police Officer who has stopped me and without exception I get waved on and never asked for any tea money...

Do you actually have any evidence that his wife is being unfaithful or are you making assumptions? What does 'obviously' mean?

The only evidence I have is what I have seen for myself but no hard photographic evidence to back it up .so it would be my word against her's .

I have dropped a few subtle hints to him like " you should squirrel some cash away for a rainy day as you never know what's around the corner sort of thing .

And that he should get a few tilt/pan IP security cameras fitting in and outside his house (for his own peace of mind of cause) which he can then check online to see everything is OK whilst he's working away .which she totally veto'd ( I wonder why??)

A neighbour and friend who works off shore near Koh Samui 3 weeks on 3 weeks off …. His wife is obviously playing away with a local worker (Maybe husband/boyfriend who knows) what do I do or say….My wife says it is non of my business and I should say nothing ..

What should I do or say for the best???? .....he is blissfully happy

I can recommend one she Set up a Thai company so I could buy my home and did all the legal stuff etc for the purchase and 5 years later she still sort out my yearly audit too . she is very efficient and speaks excellent English .Her office is Big "C" end of Pattaya Tai ...IM me if you want the address and phone number .

I believe that a lot of peoples expectations and tolerances dry up when there money and resources diminish though either pure stupidity or been over exuberant with what Thailand has to offer....Thailand and the world will always looks better with deep pockets full of £.$.฿

There was 1 jar of Robertsons visible on the shelf at Friendship this morning, close to the top, to the right of the baking flour section. I seem to remember last year they also had some placed in the isle by the tinned tomatoes.....Guess they weren't sure what it was.

On previous years, the supermarket in the basement of Central has had a supply of Waitrose own label a stuff.

No a side note there was a large snake 2m to 2.5 m squashed on the Suk near Tesco frid 23/11 so there's no telling when or where they will turn up

The pleasure of living in a tropical paradise ....in the last 4 years I've had one 3,5m king cobra .two monocled cobra. seven Malayan pit viper ,one Russel pit viper ,two green pit vipers .and lost count of the golden tree snakes ..Oh and two Pythons .Only the Pythons and the golden tree snakes might make a return visit ...the rest are history ....I do the same as all the khun Thai in my moo baan without the guilt of Buddha on my shoulders.

They will be incredibly expensive too.

Not bothered about the expense it's a Christmas treat for myself ,after all it's only once a year , I'll be back drinking Leo by the 26th December .
