There was a thread on here not that long ago where this was discussed - cannot remember if it started off about Guinness or not.....
Witherspoons on Soi Buakhow has a few "bitters" in cans left but have run out of OSH and Abbott and are awaiting delivery.
From the link -
A selective quote from the article which turns the negative link headline into something else - irrespective of how accurate that is. Apparently, from the same article, the Swiss also have issues........
Yes.
In their defence the claim was somewhat unusual and initially I wasn't sure if I would be recompensed despite them saying yes I was covered.
However the claims process for me was very drawn out affair with several different Roojai staff (or who acted for them) involved and continual reminders from me or my gf. Eventually I was fully reimbursed after about 2-3 months.
Even though more expensive (2k baht) I have gone back to Axa when I renewed earlier this month. Their claims process was much more straightforward plus there is a very local office and the broker I use has a good relationship with them.
You don't stop do you.
I wasn't trying to present any comparison - or did you miss the bit about me not wanting to discuss my reasons.
The reference was to show that I have used a cc extensively elsewhere but choose to use cash here. End of.
The reality is that you made a statement about QR codes being quicker than cash or similar which I agreed with in principal but which I have empirically found on a number of recent occasions to be incorrect.
I added a rider about my own use for reference and to say that in Thailand I used cash partly because earlier you were also suggesting something strange about people who used cash (I can't be ar**ed to go back and check your specific statements)
So my Statement is hardly "moot" as you put it.
No - but I am not sure that even if I had that I would use it.
My personal choice and the reasons are not relevant to this thread in case anybody was going to ask.
I agree it should be but unfortunately a number of recent experiences in the supposedly "Express" checkout lane of my local Big C Extra (where a sign says Cash Only.....) would refute that observation. ????
For the record I pretty much used a card exclusively for supermarket shopping in the UK but here I use only cash.
Have you tried to call them? I have to normally speak to them a couple of times a year and rarely do I not eventually get answered -
