  1. What has that got to do with a Chromecast?
  2. Great if it goes through however this leaves me wondering if the major players can potentially try and hold it up -
  3. https://www.theregister.com/2025/03/10/google_chromecast_outage/
  4. It certainly does not give a list of "assets" as you called it. If that was just a slip of the pen then fine but otherwise suggest you go and read up on what is actually transferred.
  5. So do I - but specifically for 2028 I would really like the Brazilian Real to soar back up against the $US. It can depreciate again in 2029 for all I care. Unfortunately nothing suggests that is likely to happen with less chance then some of your Thailand requirements
  6. This seems to be the major problem. When deportation falls within UK law but overruled by ECHR then either ECHR laws need to be reviewed or perhaps the UK needs to review its "membership"........
  7. its been going on for 18 months now since the initial announcement. None of what is written (well most) is new and has all been regurgitated and discussed multiple times already in several main tax threads. Many of the original posters have simply switched off which is why you now have a particularly relatively new member posting information that he seems to believe is new - like the RD explanation booklet..... The simplistic reason for a potential lack of accurate answers is that TIT and lack of clarity can allow all sorts of things to take place........Also what is accurate for one is not necessarily true for another hence the repeated suggestion to seek professional individual advice if you are that concerned.
  8. Have you looked at https://www.localphone.com/ ? You can get a local number apparently. I don't need that but the only thing for me that is a vague question mark is reliability based on reading some online comments and memory from some time ago.
  9. What are you saying is the declarable amount In total when added to the rest of whatever you are filing? You have been quite vocal about filing irrespective of whether it is believed necessary so unless those amounts were small surely they should be included or are you now agreeing that if not assessable (perhaps savings prior to 2024) then they can safely be "ignored"......
  10. Same same, but different perhaps............
  11. So 3 hours ago I asked you in another thread have you filed yet - as you have said before you would be. As time is passing or are you still prevaricating? Normally so quick to respond...... I also asked if you planned to declare the cash you had brought in from your foreign trips - whether last year or this - so?
  12. Because I hardly use it and why spend more money then I need to?
  13. Fill your boots https://www.deemoney.com/
  14. Thanks
  15. Yes I saw that thanks but what does that mean in reality if you are in an area without 5g? Otherwise it looks like a no brainer to add that rather than my current package. Ah just realised my daily driver is not 5g......... however still interested in an answer if you don't mind
  16. Apologies to OP for jumping on his thread. Any idea what speed that is at as I currently use the 33 baht package mainly for Line use but occasionally checking something online - but is too slow as only I think 128kbps. I couldn't see any reference to speed with a quick look.
  17. Do you have anything official about them closing as opposed to the statement on their web site?
  18. So have you filed yet - you said you were going to and time is flashing by......... And will you declare the cash you brought back on your trips?
  19. Thanks for responding back. I don't agree as already mentioned but interesting to see an alternative view. We shall see indeed
  20. So how is that leading to the demise of e-banking? Unfortunately they are too far down that path to reverse. Ts and Cs will just need to be reworded so what am I missing?
  21. I am thanks You want to say which forum - without actually spelling it out as it were as that won't be appreciated.....
  22. I replied to you yesterday with the answer @anchadian provided above. Did you actually look at it - genuinely curious?
  23. Thanks - I have been wanting to say this for months...........
  24. Does he have a work permit? Anyway I renewed my extension of stay this week at Jomtien Immigration - along with unfortunately loads of others. No mention of any "tax " filings.....
  25. I am currently with April International. I looked at changing at the end of last year but eventually rejected both the others you mention. Cigna - was going to end up more expensive probably in the long run with slightly less benefits. PC - as someone else mentioned have lots of exclusions depending on your age - get in young enough and it may be ok and if healthy you would certainly save money earlier on. I didn't want to take the risk. Currently considering for my next renewal a Thai Life policy (yes it has some Life Insurance part but overall may offer better value then April Int. ). The only issue for me is getting an English translation of their small print......
