Growing cannabis is both an art and a science. Striking the right balance of light, nutrients, and care can transform a plant from ordinary to medical-grade quality. In Thailand, numerous cannabis farms exist, but finding one that consistently delivers top-tier buds can be challenging. Here’s a look at five of the best cannabis farms in Thailand that stand out for their quality and innovation. 1. RGT Cannabis Farm – Chiang Mai Opening hours: Daily, 9.30 am to 5pm Location: RGT Cannabis Farm, 256 Moo 18, Baan Nong Phueng Soi 4, Inthakhin, Mae Taeng, Chiang Mai 50150 Contact information: Website | Facebook | LINE RGT Cannabis Farm is known for its pharmaceutical-grade cannabis, certified by SGS for Good Agricultural and Collecting Practices (GACP). Using an advanced aeroponics system, they deliver nutrients directly to the roots, producing pure and potent strains. Visitors can tour the facility by appointment, where they’ll see the meticulous cultivation process firsthand. 2. Medicana – Bangkok Location: Medicana, 1679/2 Ladphrao 94, Phlabphla, Wang Thonglang, Bangkok 10310 Contact information: Website | Instagram | LINE As Bangkok's first licensed indoor cannabis facility, Medicana is dedicated to precision and consistency. Their smart farming systems and genetics programme features over 80 cultivation units, ensuring every of their 2,000 plants meets strict FDA standards. Known for high-CBD, high-THC strains like Gastropop and Pineapple Express, Medicana also offers pre-sorted cannabis clones for growers looking to expand their operations quickly. 3. Sticky Hands Laboratory Contact information: Instagram | Facebook | LINE Sticky Hands Laboratory takes a hands-on approach to cannabis cultivation. Using smart climate control systems, they produce high-quality strains like Panna Cotta and Strawberry Marshmallow OG. Their Slapz strain recently won first place at the Full Moon Sesh’s Hash Holes competition, proving their commitment to quality. 4. Iridescent Med – Samut Prakan Opening hours: Daily, 9am to 5pm Location: Iridescent Med Company Limited (Head Office) 407/39, Samrong Nuea Subdistrict, Mueang Samut Prakan District, Samut Prakan 10270 Contact information: Website | Instagram | LINE Operating two large-scale facilities, Iridescent Med follows eco-friendly practices and GACP standards. Their 20,000 square metre site in Chon Buri alone produces up to 16 metric tonnes of medical cannabis flowers annually. Known for unique strains like Sugar Cane and Apple Banana, they also run a dispensary in Bangkok’s Ekkamai area. 5. Tropical Thunder Contact information: Instagram | LINE Tropical Thunder stands out for its natural approach to cannabis cultivation. Using living soil rich with organic matter, they grow award-winning strains like Miami Mami, which won the Budtender Cup 2024. Unlike the quick-fix approach of artificial fertilisers, their sustainable methods ensure healthier and more flavorful buds. Their farm may be smaller than other entries on this list, but they make every space count, proving that size doesn’t matter after all. Sponsored.

That deep breath you take when you arrive back home

Happy for you, but don't judge an entire country just on one location. Thailand has some lovely areas. A bit like judging the UK just on Scunthorpe!- 71 replies

I think I've had cause to do this about 3 times in the last 20 years! The reason in every case, was too much chilli for me to handle. Never experienced any other issues with the food I'm happy to report. The one thing that does get me upset quite quickly on the service issue, is the Thai insistence on NOT bringing the food to the table complete.By this I mean, if there are 2 of you or more, everyone gets there food at different times. Accompanying things like garlic bread, doesn't arrive until after you've eaten Yr meal! Timing on food is awful, many times I've actually finished my food before others have even got theirs!

What Could Trump’s “Gold Card” Mean for Thai Nationals? President Donald Trump has announced plans for a new U.S. immigration pathway called a “gold card.” First proposed on February 25, 2025, Trump envisions the gold card replacing a U.S. visa category that has existed since 1990. Read more below to see what the introduction of a gold card could mean for Thai nationals. What is a Gold Card? Since legislation has not been passed yet, there are still some aspects that remain uncertain; however, if the gold card does become a lawful U.S. immigration pathway, it would be designed for wealthy individuals who can afford a substantial one-time fee. To be more specific, Trump’s plan is to charge individuals $5,000,000 in exchange for a gold card. Who Could Be Eligible for a Gold Card? President Trump stated to the press from the Oval Office that his plan is to, “...give [gold card purchasers] green card privileges, plus it’s going to be a route for citizenship. And wealthy people will be coming into our country by buying this card.” It’s clear that the Trump administration plans to target high net worth individuals, such as: Business owners Corporate executives Doctors Attorneys Real estate investors Surgeons Etc. The proposal also included plans to vet gold card purchasers before they may enter the United States. It remains unclear what the vetting process for a gold card would look like, but it is likely that Thai nationals would need to apply for one at a U.S. embassy or consulate in the same way they would apply for a green card. Can I Still Apply for an EB-5 Visa? Along with the proposal came the announcement that President Trump plans to drop the EB-5 Immigrant Investor Visa Program in favor of the gold card. The EB-5 Program has traditionally allowed foreign investors to make an investment in a U.S. company in exchange for lawful permanent residency in the United States. U.S. Commerce Secretary, Howard Lutnick, said that the EB-5 Program has seen a high amount of “nonsense” and “fraud.” Therefore, the administration would likely seek to end this program if gold card legislation passes. However, as of this moment, Thai investors can still make an at-risk investment in a U.S. company to apply for an EB-5 visa. The current legislation in place says that the EB-5 Program will remain active until Sept. 30, 2027. For more information and updates surrounding Trump’s gold card proposal, navigate to the gold card guide.

Should I stay ou should I go? (Pattaya, Phuket)
CharlieH replied to Franck60's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
Its the old saying " One mans food is another mans poison" , I dont drink, the bar scene was never an interest to me. I have spent one or two evenings visiting such areas of "fun" just to see what goes on etc but for me . I found any more than a few nights in those type of places was boring. They great to visit from time to time, bu that I mean maybe once a year. Not somehwere to spend any real time if you living here. My recommendation over the years has always been, visit as many places as you can, get a feel what you enjoy. Then make that within reasonable striking distance of where you actually choose to live. You then end up with a balance, its there if you want it, but at arms length to your actual life. -

Unfortunately there is unlikely to be any "quick fix" if this is nerve or soft tissue related, correct exercise/stretch routine, and decent massage (not the soft happy ending type) should see improvement. The work is mostly on your part, with posture, flexibility exercise and strengthening supporting muscles. Why not go along to the suggested physiotherapy centre and get an assessment and go from there . I would try this before incurring possibly unnecessary expense of MRI etc, not saying rule it out, but if you are paying and not insurance I would explore other options before digging into the bank balance for specialist or imaging etc.

Antideppressants SSRI's are available, Other SSRIs (similar to Seroxat) 1. Fluoxetine (Prozac) – Longer half-life, less withdrawal difficulty. 2.
