I do use a Marriage Visa Extension but an agency sorts the paperwork as it is worth it for my time, stress. However, I continue to use the 65K baht monthly income transferred once a month as my funds are invested and, well ... just not a justifiable financial decision to park funds in a Thai bank at low interest. Trump did get elected by those justified in their frustration/anger at the status quo of the working middle class economic squeeze brought on by both mayor American political parties over a half century in the making. The choice was very unwise but can be understood as an emotional view of continuing the status quo (Democrats) or support for trump who was giving voice to the frustration (his documented history showed he was not a person to address the very real issues). His election, while running as a Republican was also a rejection of the traditional Republican Party. Sadly, as the issues have not been addressed, IMHO the madness will continue. This Americans apology to all who had wished/hoped for a USA at least giving some lip service to higher ideals.

Just advising care for all concerning using emailed statement. Current experience. I screwed up timing asking for a 12 month statement from Bangkok Bank - Bangkok. Needed for Income Method Visa Extension of Stay-Marriage. Girl told me I could have statement e-mailed in 2-3 days but I would need to print it out. Great! Received it in 2 days, I went to the bank for the confirming letter and was told ... nope, cannot use, has to be mailed back to them from Bangkok. ??? Long story-short the agency I use got it cleared but I still need to bring the mailed listing when it comes in. ah ... Thailand. Going on 15 years so, jai yen yen is part of my nature.
