I never thought that I'd see the day that Bob would hang up his spurs.
A lot of the old crew owe him & Palmers a gratitude of debt plus he kept a lot of old war horses feed & watered.
Good luck to him in hopefully a short retirement (get back on the horse Bob)

Big day is the 19th as far as I know.
I hope so because I plan to be away & want to book my flight back for the 20th.
Maybe our resident songkran expert can confirm?

A old friend of mine is flying into Lampang & wants to drive up to Phayao by bike.
He's a very experienced road user & biker so would prefer some meat on the bone.
Can anyone recommend a spot in Lampang that would rent him a bike?
He does have a Thai driving license

I need to get my daughters hair trimmed for the new school term.
The missus usually does it but has had to go back to the village.
Can anyone recommend a place that will cut a 6 year's hair in town?

put prices up from what to what
the tariff is set by the local authority as I detailed above, they cannot just put prices up.
Much like taxis have their meters turned on & also charge set tariffs.
There's a long running ad on 103FM advising people not to drink/drive & that's there's a MB taxi on nearly every corner.
I wonder if sober MB taxi drivers cost more?

Big Kahuna opening up very soon with a soft opening planned for next week it seems according to it's faceache page.
I wish the big lad all the very best & will most defo being sampling the food & delicious beverages.
Good margaritas should be made with fresh squeezed lime not the bottled stuff & I'd like to maybe see a french martini done with actually freshly squeezed pineapple juice (none of the boiled rubbish in cartons)

I now walk to the next soi to where I live to get a mb taxi after my local one put their prices up 20%.
Been using them at least 3-4 a week for 5 years, now they get zilch.

They are fired off barges in the bay most usually in front of Central & not forgetting being randomly being set off by morons who think it's funny to send a rocket down the street or across the beach

I've started emailing various hospitals Sheryl
We got the all clear this morning for hydrocephalus & we're over the moon but a sleepless night was had
-
We eventually got a reply from Prof. Vorasuk Shotelersuk's team & were seen by him.
He only holds surgery once a week on Tuesday afternoons & has no private clinc.
He had a tremendous manner & was very informative.
We had an ultrasound done on his advice & get the results tomorrow re concern of hydrocephalus but we also need the lad tested properly for sleep apnea but haven't had any success finding a place that tests infants only children or adults.
Do you know of any clinics Sheryl?

Dry white from Italy - became quite popular in the UK some 10 years or so ago. Nothing to get excited about but an everyday basic wine - Gavi di Gavi better.
Love a gavi de gavi at that price but I'll defo be indulging in that LBV at that price.
Wine Connection have a good muscadet sur lie just in.

Tesco are doing a decent enough bottle of Gavi at 549THB in their 'finest' range
