First time I saw it as well visiting a retiree there into that scene...it looks awful now - Walking Street looks like a DMT bad trip...the Indian themed bangra dancing place is just a bizarre thing also - with too many families there for the type of place it was/is. Is this classed as limescale...? I cannot get this off dark tiles in 2 shower rooms at all. Tried soap and a brush, then a scourer... Then tried vinegar and soap, a brush, then a scourer... and this is current condition when it dries. 3 attempts in 4 days of hard scrubbing...fatigue as when its wet it looks like its gone till it dries.
