  1. To be honest 20 years ago i lived in a town with a large muslim community ,there was very little trouble they ran the shops and we shopped in them ,never saw a burqua ,then the mosque opened ,downhill eversince ,the place is now a hellhole ,demonstrations ,women covered from head to toe ,now you no longer see white people in the asian part of town where we all used to shop , i for one didnt think about muslims one way or the other ,now lets just say i feel differently towards them.

i also feel quite different when i see a lady in a full burqa. and my wife feels that i feel different. my mistake was that she once overheard me murmuring "i wonder how old she is and whether she has big boobs."

A "hands on " approach may be needed to verify, just make sure you are not in a Muslim country before you try this as u might not have any hands left afterwards

  2. Brain washing really seems to be easy to do. I remember J. Witnesses knocking on my UK door with some really daft talk stuff that had know real answers to my questions, and l thought then how easy it was for kids brought up in that environment to be brain washed. sad.png

If religion wasnt taught from birth but at 18 years of age I doubt there would be many followers at all and the wor;ld would be a better place.

Id go so far as to say anyone teaching their kids religion as a truth is a child abuser

  3. the human senses are not perfect by any means.

We can perceive only a limited range of light and sound.

A classic example are the dogs, they can hear ultrasounds, we cannot.

According to some people in Asia, when the dogs keep howling without apparent reason, is because they have seen a ghost; i am not saying that i " believe " in ghosts, but denying the existence of something we cannot see it's as much as unreasonable.

I agree that our senses are lacking in many respects compared to other animals, so can 'pick up' things we would not. e.g. earthquakes etc. (even though my dogs missed out entirely on the recent earthquake that hit our area, although not where I live).

However, my dogs have only howled for known reasons - a certain note from a keyboard, ice-cream van etc. None of them have ever howled for no reason that I could detect.

yeah but you dont have a dogs sense of smell or hearing. Could be some local bitch on heat by u for all we know and yer dogs were feeling friskywub.png

  4. i experienced sleep paralysis once in a motel and saw some stuff clinging down from the ceiling. there is some scientific explanation to it but its really really creepy. one of the few experiences that get my balls shrink to raisin size

Had it happen to me in Pratunam as well. Couldnt move.

So many people dont believe in them because they havent seen them, but they will believe in the wind or electricity which they cant see.

    But can replicate

I have a leprechaun called Colin who lives in my shed.

And no one can disprove it ......................which is what makes the argument so stupid.

  6. i recall Brendon Grimshaw, the brit who paid £8000 in 1962 for Moyenne Island (just half a mile wide) in the Seychelles. Now reportedly worth upwards of 34 million euros..

was sad to learn that Brendon died a couple of months ago. His story is certainly a fascinating one.

here's a link to a piece about him a couple of months before he passed.. Brendon Grimshaw

...and here's the man himself (on his island) -

You have to realise that £8000 in 1962 could have bought you about 4 UK houses so even then it was a lot of money.

  7. I read the world news all the time (not from here).

I can tell you that the whole world seems to be going mad the last 5 years, the things people do makes me lol.

    The end is near tongue.png

no ,just the muslim world has gone mad.

I agree. Too much resentment of western nations that have stable democracies, enjoy a high standard of living and have a liberated view of sex, the arts, literature etc.

and tragically interfere in world politics every chance they get

In the hope those oppressed nations can have the freedoms we take for granted and that most of those peope want

  9. I'm Christian and you know what Islam says about my religion? It says Jesus Christ wasn't the son of God. Neither was he crucified and he didn't die on the cross for the sins of the world. They have disrespected the foundation of my religion. Now do you see any Christians going out there protesting and killing Muslims? Or firebombing their mosques?

There is no excuse for their kind of barbaric behavior. And it's amazing some people are still practically defending what they're doing in the name of their peaceful religion.

The problems between Christians and Muslims has been going on a long time. What is happening now is just another episode in a very old war

    http://gbgm-umc.org/...le/crusades.stm

    The First Crusade

Pope Urban II (1088-1099, see art below) was responsible for assisting Emperor Alexus I (1081-1118) of Constantinople in launching the first crusade. He made one of the most influential speeches in the Middle Ages, calling on Christian princes in Europe to go on a crusade to rescue the Holy Land from the Turks. In the speech given at the Council of Clermont in France, on November 27, 1095, he combined the ideas of making a pilgrimage to the Holy Land with that of waging a holy war against infidels.1

Dr. E.L. Skip Knox gives a summary of the pope's speech, which has been recorded differently in various sources: urban.jpg

"The noble race of Franks must come to the aid their fellow Christians in the East. The infidel Turks are advancing into the heart of Eastern Christendom; Christians are being oppressed and attacked; churches and holy places are being defiled. Jerusalem is groaning under the Saracen yoke. The Holy Sepulchre is in Moslem hands and has been turned into a mosque. Pilgrims are harassed and even prevented from access to the Holy Land.

"The West must march to the defense of the East. All should go, rich and poor alike. The Franks must stop their internal wars and squabbles. Let them go instead against the infidel and fight a righteous war.

"God himself will lead them, for they will be doing His work. There will be absolution and remission of sins for all who die in the service of Christ. Here they are poor and miserable sinners; there they will be rich and happy. Let none hesitate; they must march next summer. God wills it!

If the Muslims are still smarting over whatever happened a thousand years over, I'd suggest they get over it.

There in lies the problem, since those early days Christians/The West have never ever left the Muslim lands, they have never ever stopped interfering in Muslim lands.

These riots and protests have absolutely nothing to do with this movie, It is just a rallying call to those that are angry at the never ending western interference in their lands.

Whose land do you think it was 100 million years ago?

  10. Just punish the guy who made it ... And all this will be gone ....

Why punish the filmmaker and accept oppression from Arabs? Freedom of expression anyone?

Because Freedom of Speech shouldn't allow hatred of religion or ethnicity....wouldn't you agree that the world would be a happier place if there was less hate of others?

Agree. Muslims feel very strongly about thier religion same like we do of our loved ones. How would any of you feel if someone insulted your mother or father in front of everyone and posted an insulting movie about them on You Tube.

Id laugh it off i wouldnt go around threatening to kill them shoot them blow them up + I accept their right to post it however hateful.

I get tired of all religions telling me there is a God without a shred of evidence but I dont kill them, sadly though it is not kept to themselves they base laws and rules on their fanatsy

  11. Just punish the guy who made it ... And all this will be gone ....

Agree, how about talking on various things such as holocaust ?? I'm Just trying to explain that somethings cant be expressed openly ...

Sent from my iPhone using ThaiVisa app

Holocaust denial is slander in the face of documented facts, it's not free speech

It might be slander but you should be free to make a film denying it if you so wish, anyone with any intelligence can decide for themselves although sometimes thats where the problem can arise the "intelligence"

  12. Just punish the guy who made it ... And all this will be gone ....

    Punish him for what?

I thought the west and in particular America, free speech etc was allowed.

If they don't like it, don't watch it

Which unfortunately isnt allowed in many "other" countries due to oppression, one day that will change when the ridiculous stranglehold of religion is finally broken worldwide.

Having just watched the movie its clearly extremely low budget comedy and anyone using this for any purpose to incite death is sick and twisted, just about the most feeble excuse Ive ever seen to do so although some religions seem to think anything at all is acceptable.

Bringing it back to Thailand if you like the laws we cant really discuss

I did notice the overdub from Moses to Mohammed, so will all Christians be rising up now too?

Monty Python did it much better
