Mr Wirun explained that he and his colleagues were told by the PPAO that their salaries for November will not be paid until the middle of the current month. Lifeguards found the date unacceptable.

“The PPAO has not paid my salary for the previous month. This is not acceptable, mid-December is really too late. We need our salaries to live,” Mr Wirun told The Phuket News today (Dec 1)

Nai Harn chief lifeguard Jula Nontree told the The Phuket News that his team will no longer provide their services on Nai harn Beach for the same reason.

Speaking of Sai Yuan, Mrs SP told me a couple of days ago traffic was backed up to Sai Yuan.

Same, when coming back from the beach(Nai Harn) in the car anywhere near 15/1600 I go via view point, definitely quicker IMO.

I eat at both K2 and the Yacht club, enjoy both places, have never had a problem with the chef at the Yacht club.

Have eaten at K1 next to the pier enough times to know for sure that their food isn't better than K2's, K1's for tourist's and groups/wedding receptions ect.

And another Toys R Us upstairs at Home Works.

Lived where?

Not sticking up for the poor upkeep of busses here but a failing fuel or oil/hydraulic line can be a very hard one to spot same goes for a water hose on the radiator.

A tiny crack in the line and some diesel or oil sprays like a mist onto the turbo and up she goes...just saying!

The old lady that scours for stuff in our area used to be a bit messy, the wife spoke with her and have never had a problem since.

Gotta agree with the rubbish collection here in Chalong, outstanding, 4 sometimes 5 times a week.
