    Where are you living?

Im moving to Phuket Town in few weeks time. I am not in Thailand right now.

As said a quick forum search would be a good idea, my 6 yr old goes to Kajonkiet, Kathu, the English language one but there's also an International at the same place.

He's starting his 3rd year there and we're very happy with his development.

Do you need a hose, or pipe?

    What's the application?

Sounds like an American and I think he's after a garden hose.

English smile.png We call them hose-pipes, but yes essentially a garden hose.

I just need a small-ish one that I can attach to a tap to help clean my balcony - it gets a lot of dust/rubbish from nearby construction so would like to hose it down every week.

@KarenBravo - never seen a hardware store on Bangla! Must open my eyes more.

Not sure if its there anymore but i think he means: (on Bangla facing away from the ocean) turn right off Bangla onto Ratytits then a hundred or so meters along on the left side, would be close to the JC entrance.

  5. Found a blue bottle at the norhtern end of karon late december 2014, pointed it out to the life guards from centara who both laughed, then took it into the jungle and buried it as best i could, my 6yr old was with me so great lesson for him.

We had a problem with the roof leaking last year(rented house, the owners got a couple of different Thai's to fix the problem, both times the guy stood on the roof(flat gently sloping roof, scratched there heads then disappeared never to return, eventually it was sorted by another Thai guy who seemed to know what he was doing!

Well that's the OP's problem sorted then!!

  8. Its an all beaches all year round thing actually (admittedly some days worse than other but they're always there) and apart from staying out of the water there's nothing you can do..(unless you own some stinger suits), my little bloke(6yr) and myself don't get any bumps from them though.

This is about as much a piece of art like the infamous 9 million Baht wasting for a "Patong City" sign, which accidentally was erected in the area of Kathu. sick.gif

Do you mean the sign which could affectionately be know as the leaning sign of Patong & will eventually be part of a fairly major landslide considering the land behind it must be moving to cause the lean.
Went past before and it's definitely leaning. Won't be before long that it crashes onto the road.

Imagine how many 'one liners' there will be getting about when that happens!

Never been to Phuket and have no intention of going there . Too many ferlung with all their BS. Hua-Hin was the same which is why we moved way up North. Now what I need to know is .......is .there anywhere with a beach in LoS that is free of thousands of pink ferlung riding around on scooters with a tin of Chang in one hand. The smog this year was too much and I want to find a beach or island next year to excape from all this.

I could tell you where to go but it'd probably get moderated!

You don't mean the colourful ones with stuff written on them do you?

I think he means the old military ones.

Ok, I dont see many around at all myself, mainly just the idiots in the rented crap from Patong or the Safari Land Rovers.
