    The Bitcoin is changed to fiat just before, same thing. Same with my Revolut card. I like using the card, just bought lottery tickets, milk, and eggs in the COOP in Scotland. I get 3% back in crypto. I also got free 1st class lounge when travelling last week and get free Netflix, Spotify, etc. It's done me very well. Also, I obviously don't pay tax on the crypto I am spending.

    I literally bet my house in Khon Kaen. I sold it and am renting now until BTC goes to around $200k I bought Bitcoin last year between $16,800 and $18,800.

    Exactly. Even the biggest Bitcoin haters and Luddites are now investing in it somehow, including idiots like Jamie Dimon who has continually slagged off Bitcoin, to cause FUD and a price drop, whilst buying it up. I really don't understand people like the OP who seem to trust banks and don't like Bitcoin, which of course was invented because of the corrupt Bankers.

    The baker round the corner from me happily accepts my metal crypto card. I use it at BluePort Hua hin to buy bread, and also Tesco Lotus. try again.

    What absolute nonsense. All long term investors that I know have made heaps. By long term I mean 3 year+. Only the ones that bought in at a stupid time, like housewives and sold when it went down lost money.

    What price in $ was bitcoin 3 years ago? I see it was $6,900. Now it is $29,900. Yet you have lost??

    When I say bitcoin, I really mean crypto. I had none a year or do ago, bitcoin I mean but bought a lot at 17-19k last year. The US government can't ban bitcoin and would be foolish to try, they would lose heaps.

    I know many foreigners who gamble online, it's not illegal, if the site is registered outside Thailand. Some were only fined for overstay?

    Not really. If you are a long term investor in Bitcoin, it's practically impossible to lose money. It averages 100% a year, since its inception. Almost 100% this year alone. I said before that it will reach 50k very soon, and 220k in the next 2.5 years

    OK, if someone was stupid enough to buy Bitcoin at the peak of the bull cycle then make it 3 years. 3 years for an investment is not long, IMHO. My point was that no one who invested in Bitcoin at times like now, have never lost if the HODLed for a while.

    That's not what I meant by 'lost' but fair point. I suppose people die and lose other assets too. There is no issue these days to convert Bitcoin to spendable currency. I bought a newspaper then a coffee and a bacon sandwich this morning with my crypto card. i used it to get on the London underground, just touching my card onto the turnstyle. I bought my plane ticked with the same card.
