  1. Anyone had this done in last few years here in Bkk ??

I had it done 4 years ago and wondering if wonderous new thai breakthroughs popped up.

Last time had Doc Panya at Bumgrab.........also 6 months prior at Samitivej...

Think I have done the other knee now.......slight pain, not same before when could hardly stand let alone walk on it.......but the ol joint is clicking when I walk like the disk is popping out with every step.

  2. Somewhat crap about the ants.....our honey bottles attract ants each and every day.

A lot of the roadside stuff is fake....think it is sugar cane and whatever they use to make the syrup.

A quick test is to hold the bottle upside down and see how quick the bubble rises....if quick, it is thin and probably not real.

We buy honey from an old time honey farmer, he has hundreds of bee hives and moves them all around for the fruit tree blooms and sunflowers etc.

I mainly do not buy the roadside stuff because of the whiskey smell still in the bottles.....I like honey in my tea and on toast...not whiskey.

We also tried some roadside wild honey, you buy it still in the comb and eat the comb and all. I would have to say that the wild stuff did not taste that great, it could have been the comb with it, but tasted very plain and was rather thin.

The honey we buy crystalises in some bottles after a while, you can also make creamed honey from it this way which is great on toast.......it is also a great price.

  3. How much should court cost to become the recognised legal father ??

My son was born overseas, we went to the family court to get this document of recognition several years ago.

My daughter was born here and I am on the birth certificate, but i presume as we are not married, that i am not recognised is that correct ??

  4. After thinking about this since the thread opened. I decided to try being a bit nicer, friendly to people. Understand in the past I was not hostile, I just ignored people.

My main reason for doing this, is I just don't want to talk with some stranger. That and I only like to associate with Americans, and there are not to many Americans where I live.

Over the last few weeks I have made a point to smile and give the head nod to my fellow farangs.

I was surprised that aside from the look of astonishment, everyone seemed pleased.

Only one man, a Brit in Bangkok Bank wanted to strike up a conversation with me. I quickly pretended to get a phone call and it was over.

I am now making it more of a habit to smile and acknowledge everyone.

But what about the bitter disappointment you produce in people when they realise they cannot talk to you ??

I applaud your decision to stick to American chat........less for me to bump into.

  5. I am finding this a very interesting thread.

I am not aware that I notice the nationanality/skin colour of people as I go about my business. Maybe I'm too preoccupied/self-obsessed...

When I am out shopping, I don't think, There's a Thai, There's a whitey, There's a black person, or decide who I acknowledge from such a superficial viewpoint.

    Indeed.

and what sort of psychological problems do those that do have?

Some people don't walk through life with their heads down or blinded to whats around them......if you do not notice difference in things, people included....then I assume you are just walking blindly through life.
