Don't think so. THEIR law is there so a visa holder can do nothing work wise cos a Thai should be doing it. When l paint my house or cut the grass l am always looking over my shoulder cos a Thai should be doing it.

Am l right in saying foreign rescue workers who came to help after the Seunami had problems because didn't have a paper with a rubber stamp on it.

Thanks Simon, I do not wish to work here as a paramedic.....I want it for other reasons, one similar to what you mentioned, but to long to go into details.......I simply want to have the theory and practical from somewhere like Oz and have that knowledge here....I know it probably does not make sense to you, but does to me.

My Thai sucks, so rules that out in the near future anyway.

I live in Thailand...in the country, not near any shopping centres that sell cricket sets...that I have seen anyway.

We go to Bkk every so often, so if anyone knows where to get it for sure cos they have bought one or simply seen them there....then I would like that info, so I can go there when we are in town and usually on limited time.

I do not however want to go somewhere that someone thinks sells sports stuff and should maybe perhaps sell cricket sets cos they sell lotsa other sports stuff.....we usually dont have the time we we come to Bkk to run around to much looking here there and everywhere.

Nice....if they do provide some answers...you might have to shout them a meal and booze up session.....or/and a round of golf if you play.

I prefer first hand information from someone that knows and/or has done it themselves, family or friends etc.

I don't care what other people think. I will still wave to other riders, stop and ask if they need help when they are broken down and render first aid if needed. If we gunna act like a$$holes, we may as well sell our bikes and become car drivers.

Most people....except in asia....will offer assistance to a broken down car or injured person....so your comment is a little silly.

But most people do not wave to complete strangers for no reason other than they believe...falsely...they have some kinship with them, even though person they are waving to may have just beaten up their wife or child before breakfast.
