  1. I second that. Camillian is an old type hospital, but good doctors and service with a smile. Usually get my yearly VIP check ups there.
  2. Excellent piece of writing. The first paragraph is so true. Seen a lot of it first hand over my many years of travel to over 70 countries.
  3. Sorry but I find this post very confusing...
  4. I presume he would mean the 250 senators which which are mostly pro military and pro monarchy. So how they vote remains to be seen in a weeks time.
  5. Thats great---now we can be rid of your insulting posts. Remember you're the one that initiated the thread with no details of the nature of the alleged crime.
  6. Those premiums seem impossible for your age bracket. Would you elaborate on what coverage you actually have,,thanks
  7. Was in NZ beginning of the year. They are definitely mostly cashless (hardly anyone carries cash) and the system went down one day at noon, and lasted 6-7 hours. Shops closed, gas stations shut, supermarkets closed...a real mess. So yes it will happen sometimes, and yes it can cause big problems.
  8. No subcontractor. Hitachi have a large presence in Thailand. Hundreds of lifts and escalators. Management is mainly Japanese (few foreign engineers) and the actual techs for maintenance are all Thai (as are the installation teams, but that is normally subcontracted--but still Thai).
  9. Firstly I'll presume you are in Thailand and so is she...so If her account is with Kasikorn, then just walk into any Kasikorn branch, fill in her bank account details/amount, hand over the cash and the teller will take care of the rest. Can actually do at any bank, but probably easier if you choose a branch of her bank.
  10. Really why do you care. There are thousands of profiles and you are worrying about a few that maybe have the wrong location...come on????
  11. It really is in your imagination!!
  12. Well you have to live with the on/off status or buy a new pump (about 7k).
  13. You have air in the system. There one or two caps on the pump. Loosen these, let the air out (ie: until water sprays out). Tighten caps, turn off the outlet valve for a few minutes to let the pump fill up. Open valve and the pump should open for a while as the house water pressure stabilises, then shut off as normal. Good luck.
  14. Finally a man who knows what he's talking about, and understands the system.
  15. And why is that?. Tell us the problems you think Thai banks have had over the past decade (the answer is zero, but maybe you have secret information you'd like to share)
  16. Unfortunately that practice is not viable these days at the DLT. Quite stringent rules these days.
  17. Re new phone. With Thai banking apps you will need to physically go to the Bank with your new phone, and they will set it up for you. This is a pain but the only way to do it. My daughter had the same problem, and she keep using her old phone just for the banking apps, until she could physically go to the Bank (so you might try that way). Hope this helps.
  18. You obviously don't understand correctly. You can physically go to the Bank branch (with PP and bankbook) and withdraw/transfer as per normal.
