    Its not only common, it's actually the right way. eg: my wife and daughter are on the same Tibbian Baan, but have 6 other Tibbian Baan between them, for the properties they also own, and of course these 6 books are blank (with only the actual address of the house it pertains too).

    The only other thought I had (only if it was my place). When you park your car, it it seems only 2 ways to enter the house, and both are a long way. ie: go outside, past the pool and in the balcony door, or up a ramp, into the Thai kitchen, and then enter through a small door (meters away at the end of the thai kitchen). IMHO.

    My observation is a very nice plan, but to me the kitchen area lacks bench space, and an 'island' would be a a very useful and aesthetic addition.

    She doesn't have to change her address, but most do if they own a house. Thai's can only be in one house book at a time. Easily changed..just check with local Amphur what documents are required. No biggie.

    Cant believe that. Even at the expensive BPH a full knee replacement is now 250,000 baht (promotion).

    If I interpret this correctly, then for example a one million baht Fixed deposit, you get interest of 23,000 baht (minus 15% tax) after 3 years. Or should that be 2.3%p.a. and the interest is paid yearly and compounded for years 2 and 3. Thanks.

    Bank interest rates for Fixed Deposit and normal Savings Accounts have been extremely low for years, but rates do seem to be rising somewhat now. Would be interesting and beneficial for many of us to hear from posters on their recent interest rate/deposit terms at any bank. (eg: I was quoted 0.80% for 1yr term at Bangkok Bank yesterday).

    Now I know why a lot of plastic bags of rice at Makro have holes in them...thought it was the shelve stocking crew, but no, its your wife and son that do this. Amazing what you find out on this forum.

    Actually the recommended test now is Fibroscan. Takes 10 minutes and not expensive.
