You can buy prepaid TOT 3G unlimited download sims for around 899BHT that last 30 days. not sure if there still around. I cannot think of another option that you going to have for such short period of time 2 Months. Unless as the other OP says you live where there is already an ADSL service installed.
-
khunken you can turnoff True's landing page in the router setting and go to the home page of your choice not True's
-
If you can get a decent 3G signal have a look at TOT,True Prepaid DTAC Sim for USB 3G aircard you can get this unlimited download for 700- 900THB/Month. No contract just buy each month.

An experienced .Net developer is paid 80KTHB sometimes more. For SAP ABAP Developer 80- 120KTHB. better than teaching I think but you need experience 2 years is a junior.

This Survey also got some good I.T. salary date http://www.adecco.co.th/Uploads/Adecco-Thailand-Salary-Guide-2011.pdf There are two other available from others companies if you do a Google search.

Sorry Jim I forgot people lived in Geelong. Actually I have two good friends Living in Geelong. Good luck finding cheap flights.

While you restrict or charge extra forinternational bandwidth in and out of Thailand compared with domestic internet bandwidth. This it isdisincentive to locate regional data centres in Thailand. A missed opportunityfor Thailand

I am from Melbourne and no way would I go via Avalon it is in the middle of nowhere (closer to Geelong than Melbourne) and will cost you an arm and leg to get back into Melbourne on the bus or taxi.
try www.cheaptickets.co.th or www.momondo.com for cheap flights.

Tokyo @ MBK have them on the 4th floor where they sell Sissors and other hair products.

Windows 7 is lighter and 100's of times more robust than Visa ever was. It morel like vista should have been. It has been release for nearly 2 years now.
-
It is not for sale any longer replaced by Vista and then Win 7, not so quickly it was released in 2001 . 5 year is a life time in IT terms 10 years is 2 life times.

I have seen references to Dec 2012. I am thinkingreference to Dec 2011 maybe just a little optimistic.

Most likely drive has died. Is it warntee or just a repair you need? Maxtor is Seagate so try Seagate website. You may find it cheap just to purchase a new one! if it the data off the drive you need then you need to find someone to try to rescue the data.

I have just done basic test with all three browsers (no add ins) and yes only works with IE. As one op says not the case for BBank personal bank as I use Chrome with Bbank and it works fine. I be asking them when they going to fix this as the world is not just IE any more far from it. Try the adds the op suggests see if that can stop you having to use IE. you maybe able to change some setting on you browser to get around this call there Help desk and ask them.

I don'y know about the setting on your new router but for the standard True supplied Router there is a setting you turn off to stop the landing page thing. Yes it also annoyed me for one day then I turned it off.

"This site has 10ft Dish listed http://www.mastersatcom.com both fixed and move. And this one http://www.siamdst.com/onlineshop.htm and this onehttp://www.eldsat.com last one in English other two are Thai. I just found them on Google."
Sorry forgot to mention http://www.jsat.tv/ it just they don't have an on line part web site, only packages listed. They should be able provide advise on your location and the correct dish to purchase.

Sorry I forgot Canon yes they are in the same classand I think better than Brother, not sure if Canon still make the Laser engines for many manufactures certainly was the case 10-15 years ago, maybe it still is case. But the engines only one componentof a good printer.
On the Brothers I just found the moving parts and mechanicalson them less robust than other printersin the same class.
-
Also have a look at Samsung and Fuji Xerox. I thinkit worth getting the scanning also but you will pay more for the 3in 1 types. I used Brother and HP in business use in executives offices, the HPseem to last longer than the Brother. You normally pay a fair bit more for networkingbut the way Wi-Fi is on low end stuff these days you may find something. If you’rein Bangkok have walk around Pantip IT Plaza or Fortune IT Mall to see what fitsyou requirement then go looking for the best price. Non of this low end stuff will last if you really use it a lot for may copies if you going to be doing a lot printing go up in price to the next band.

Check audio in control panel maybe it muted or turned off for applications but on for headset or speakers.

Most of the stuff that not going run here on 240V is cheap to purchase here. Laptops and PCs can normally accomidate 110 or 240 it on the power supply or power pack.

The rules vary by your destination country and if direct or non stop. Check duty fee shop at airport or their website for latest details.
-
Only change a small amount at the airport then go to http://www.superrichthailand.com/map.html in the morning if you want much better exchange rates. i say the best rates but there are a couple of other place that match this but they less accessable for most tourists.

If you get an unlimited Sim from TOT or True, AIS or DTAC they are round 700 -900 BHT for 30 days unlimited download maybe even cheaper now they all launching their 3G services. It only a 100-200 THBmore per month the the 599THB ADSL services and you stop worrying about download amounts and topups etc. that way you use the sim until you days run out have one in the draw and you back online again. I started like you on 1gb/2gb for 100Bht but soon go sick of them running out.
If you don't want to spend that much just shop around especially at the moment on the web sites and at Markets looking for the best deals.
