  1. Many years there once existed a lady in Thailand who used to circumcise boys, and collect the little pieces of skin. Now when she had enough pieces of skin she would make magic womans purses or Mens wallets with them.

Why i can hear you all ask were they magic? They were indeed magic because if you rubbed the purses or wallets up and down they turned into suitcases.

  2. Be careful, I last done the journey on my motorbikea few years back, and unless anythings changed,it's not an all together brilliant road, with many twists and turns, but well worth a visit.Very very chilled.

  3. 1) Yes it's addictive, tried many times to give it up but after 27 years we're stuck like glue.

    2) I only go back to visit my family and yes it bothers me, not my family, going back,so no i certainly don't celebrate it.

    3) Like the lovely old song ''If i had my life to live over,I'd do the same things again,I'd still like to roam,to a place i call home, where my happiness never would end'' http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0Q7QQ_22qTM

    Hope this answers your question.

  4. Always a good idea.My daughter was born in the Uk to my first Thai wife of 24 years, but has a Thai birth certificate and Thai passport and is on my 2nd Thai wife's tabian Baan.I cannot own land here except going down the owning a company and paying taxes for the privilege route. So i can get my daughter to buy whatever land or houses i want in her name, she will always fly back here if I need to sell them and i don't need to will them to her as they're already in her name.

This is quite similar to lovely Yingluck being in charge, but someone else pulling the strings from another country.

    Where there's a will there's a way.

  5. Good habits. Thais are always above board in their personal and business dealings. Their word is their bond. Charitable giving by the Thai rich is massive and publicly known. Thais take so much responsibility for their actions and behavior it makes others feel inferior. Thais never expect anything special or to be treated differently. Thai respect for law and rules of the road is amazing. Thais work very diligently , always deliver on promise, and know and understand the concept of achievement. Thais respect others in every endeavor especially the poor and foreign persons. Thais are extremely knowledgable and well read. Thais hold personal character and morality in very high esteem and would never sell out.

Absolutely brilliant reply, and well deserving of so many likes.I take it your not being serious?Haha.

  8. I'm a semi-retired uk taxi driver and the above posting is correct up to a point.I personally don't like taking on regular bookings as it ties you down to a set time everyday, and although it's guaranteed money it can cause you to miss out on substantially more lucrative work.

Nevertheless there's no harm in asking and I wish you all the best.

  9. What's happening today 4/10/13.There's been more locks put on topics, than prisoners currently residing in the Bangkok Hilton.I can only surmise one of two things has occurred.

    1) I've been greatly misinformed that Thailand is a country where an opinion or freedom of speech can be freely exercised.

    2) I was only dreaming and have just woken up in North Korea.
