  3. The attack paralyzed the operations of the airports in Volgograd and Kaluga. Temporary flight restrictions were introduced at night. Drones strike Russian Volgograd, paralyzing airport traffic
  4. At least 12 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli forces while waiting for aid in central Gaza, according to rescuers and medics. Reports say the group was killed by gunfire near an aid distribution site run by the US- and Israeli-backed Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF) on Thursday. The GHF denied there were any incidents near its site. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c0ep17gyzrzo
  5. Next time the lefties should focus on the porkies Trump likes to tell. Unfortunately the placards will be rather long.
  6. The son of a good friend of mine smoked a lot in his youth continuously until 30. It made him talk too much, he became a poor listener, then a few months ago he started having what he described as 'episodes', paranoia, a sense of detachment, distorted faces. It was very hard to maintain a conversation, he felt he was breaking down, his personality dissolving. Sounds like a bad acid trip to me, the scariest thing was the episodes could last for a day or two. He saw a psychiatrist who warned him of possible psychosis, scared to death, he managed to quit. Since then, he has recovered, the episodes have stopped, hopefully he's on the mend. Knowing him a long time, I'm sure he must have been terrified because he was a committed smoker. On another issue, back in the late sixties and early seventies, the UK was awash with a variety of cannabis aromas, sweet smelling Nepalese hash, Moroccan, pungent grass, etc, but now there's just a rather unpleasant, uniform smell emitting from all the tokers, as if they had been standing next to burning savannah soaked in insecticide. I look back on the early 70s with fondness, playing chess with friends whilst under the influence, whilst listening to great music by groups like Man ( 'Never say Nup to Nepalese'). Chess moves took hours as all the permutations drifted through one's mind, but those days had to stop, time to get ourselves together, lol.
  7. Anuthin has powerful friends too. Plus his party logo has discarded its red to be only blue nowadays.
  8. They truly shafted the People's Party betraying them in favour of the junta supporting parties to let Thaksin come home. Let PT sink, without Thaksin they're nothing, the members would join any other party at the drop of a hat.
  9. "I am so angry," says Kasem Abu al-Hija, 67. On Saturday, four of his family members were killed when an Iranian missile struck their home in northern Israel, collapsing the concrete building on top of them. Books, clothes, children's toys and body parts were blown into the road, witnesses say. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c7vr51pzvm0o The article goes on to mention there are no public bomb shelters for the 38,000 residents of their town, Tamra, an Arab-majority town in northern Israel, as is the case with many Arab-majority communities in Israel. On the other hand, the nearby Jewish-majority town Karmiel, population 55,000, has 126 public shelters.
  10. President Donald Trump complained Wednesday that California can't be trusted with forest fire management — and then Gov. Gavin Newsom (D-CA) reminded him that the people in charge of that were called away on Trump's orders. Trump made the comments in response to questions about whether the standoff between himself and Newsom over mass deportations could affect federal wildfire relief for the state. "You pulled National Guard from my command — who were literally doing this work — to stand around in front of a building in LA," wrote Newsom. "Does the President of the United States not understand what his troops do? Is he confused again? Deeply disturbing." 'Is he confused?' Gavin Newsom schools Trump on what his troops actually do
  11. President Donald Trump has apparently approved attack plans against Iran though has so far stopped short of officially giving the order, according to the Wall Street Journal. And one columnist thinks whether the president of the United States gets the nation involved in another foreign war could be decided by Trump's self-esteem. In a recent op-ed for USA TODAY, columnist Rex Huppke posited that Trump's recent actions could be attributed to the world's most powerful man having a crisis of self-confidence. 'Insecure men are dangerous': Analyst says Trump may declare war due to 'sad-boy feelings' The world is hostage to an immature boy in the White House whose sole concern is to satisfy a fragile ego.
  12. Sadly I don't think the People's Party will sweep the board, at least not with the older generation. The recent calls for patriotism will surely benefit Bhumjaithai, who could gain more seats in the next election.
  13. Eleven killed by Israeli fire while seeking aid in Gaza, rescuers say. Eleven Palestinians seeking aid were among at least 33 killed by Israeli gunfire and strikes across Gaza on Wednesday, rescuers and medics say. A spokesman for the Hamas-run civil defence agency said Israeli forces "opened fire and launched several shells" at thousands of people who were queuing for desperately needed food supplies on the main Salah al-Din Road. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c7841705x18o
  14. Roughly two-thirds of U.S. crop farm workers are foreign-born, and nearly half are not legally authorized to work, according to Labor Department data. On Wisconsin dairy farms, about 70 percent of the workforce lacks legal status, a University of Wisconsin-Madison study found. “Without farmworkers, vegetables will be left in the fields, fruit will remain unpicked, and cows will go unmilked,”American Farm Bureau Federation President Zippy Duvall said Tuesday; the group is calling on Congress to develop a permanent immigration solution. 'We need workers!' Yogurt CEO begs Trump to reverse course on ICE crackdown
  15. Deputy Foreign Minister Ryabkov explicitly cautioned the U.S. against providing direct military support to Israel or even considering such "speculative options," warning that doing so "would radically destabilise the entire situation," according to Russia's Interfax news agency. His statement reflects Moscow's concerns about the conflict spinning out of control and affecting Russia's interests in the Middle East, where it has strategic partnerships and military presence. Additionally, Sergei Naryshkin, head of Russia's foreign intelligence agency (SVR), described the situation as "critical," signaling Moscow's deep alarm over the deteriorating security environment. https://www.newsweek.com/russia-us-against-iran-nuclear-israel-attack-trump-2087320

  17. Ukraine has reportedly been asked to refrain from targeting Russia's oil infrastructure by the United States. Analysis from Reuters in February 2025 suggested that by that time in the conflict, Kyiv had knocked out about 10% of Russia’s oil refining capacity based on calculations from commodities traders. Following a devastating Russian strike on Ukraine's energy infrastructure, Zelensky took to social media to inform the world the attack “happened right after Putin’s conversation with Trump" and after the US asked Ukraine "not to strike Russian energy facilities.” Zelensky reveals US asked Ukraine not to attack Russian oil industry
  18. Donald Trump fired back at Tucker Carlson after he accused the US president of being “complicit” in Israel’s attacks on Iran. The former Fox News host and MAGA figurehead rebuked Trump and the administration in his newsletter titled: “This Could Be the Final Newsletter Before All-Out War.” Trump replied: “I don't know what Tucker Carlson is saying. Let him go get a television network and say it so that people listen. Thank you.” Trump fires back at Tucker Carlson after he accuses US president of being ‘complicit’ in Israel-Iran attacks
  19. Georgia Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene blasted conservatives in America over their support for Israel in its conflict with Iran and called on them to adhere to putting the United States first while calling out America First bandwagoners. On June 15th, Greene used her fiery right-wing rhetorical skills in a post on X to call out the fake conservatives in a nasty online message. “Everyone is finding out who are real America First/MAGA and who were fake and just said it bc it was popular,” she wrote. Greene went on to add that the list of fake MAGA America First allies was getting “quite long” and stated that anyone who was “slobbering for the U.S. to become fully involved in the Israel/Iran war is not America First/MAGA.” Who is a real MAGA Supporter? Marjorie Taylor Greene slams fakers Is Donald slobbering to get fully involved in the Israel/Iran war? Sounds like he is, boasting about US military capabilities. In that case he's fake MAGA! according to Marjorie. Dethrone the naughty boy!
  20. President Donald Trump made a Truth Social claim on Tuesday that implied the U.S. is now working with Israel against Iran. "We now have complete and total control of the skies over Iran," the President wrote. "Iran had good sky trackers and other defensive equipment, and plenty of it, but it doesn’t compare to American-made, conceived, and manufactured 'stuff.' Nobody does it better than the good ol’ USA." America's official stance, however, is that it is not directly involved in the conflict. 'Total control': Trump post demolishes official US stance on Iran attacks Looks like Donald can't wait to join the firefight. After his failure to stop Putin prosecuting his bloody war, he's desperate to do something macho to fire up his base. Only he promised the base no more wars.
  21. Immediately after President Donald Trump's Truth Social declaration implying that the U.S. has joined with Israel to fight Iran, "America First" MAGA users posted their shock and alarm. " The complete opposite of what you preached during your campaign. We voted for peace Mr. President. You have officially killed the Republican Party…" wrote @Meddy990. @matt28 posted, "you said no new wars and now your getting us into a endless ones American lives are now going to be on the line and you are going to have blood on there hands you said America first not Israel first this is going to end terribly stop now and focus on AMERICA" 'So much for America First': MAGA mad after Trump breaks anti-war promise
  22. Donald Trump is livid after his much-hyped military birthday parade was a complete failure, and he’s cancelling any more future parades, Knewz.com can reveal. The parade, which was billed as honouring the U.S. Army’s 250th birthday and cost a reported $45 million, was a dud, with underwhelming crowd numbers, as it became a laughing stock on social media. “He was furious,” an insider close to the president told Rob Shuter for his Substack. “He expected thousands… flags waving, chants, media fanfare. Instead, it felt like a county fair on a Tuesday.” ‘Furious’ Trump Cancels Future Birthday Parades
