Yeah, right - what happened to this one? http://englishnews.thaipbs.or.th/one-tourist-murder-suspect-now-arrested-another-run/
I strongly suggest that all the "Ohhh, CSI LA guy should be very afraid now to read the following, published on Sept. 23 on Thai PBS carefully:
The police have arrested a suspect in the murder of two British tourists in Koh Tao and are still hunting for a second suspect who has escaped into Bangkok.Eighth Region Police Command commissioner Pol Lt-Gen Panya Mamen identified the first suspect as Mon.
He is the brother of a village headman in Koh Tao.
He was arrested after evidence which police collected were examined and proved he was involved, he said.
He also said another suspect is also a son of that village headman. But he has already to Bangkok.
He said both suspects were captured by CCTV cameras and the police have gathered enough evidence to implicate them in the murders.
He said the southern police were coordinating with the metropolitan police to hunt him down, and expected to apprehend him today.
The southern police chief also assured the public that there was no arrest of scapegoats in this murder case as it now is a focal attention of the world.
He also dismissed any suggestion of local mafias or influential people that could twist the investigation with promise that local influence would pose no obstacle to the police investigation.
Instead the police will eliminate all these mafias, he said.
Meanwhile a police source said the police are also looking into the cooperation of those who helped to arrange the suspect to escape. They also will be arrested.
Any questions?

All that money can buy...

His name would have been cleared if he would have given the sample right away. Now, with two months time to swap all samples and meddle with the DNA samples found in Hannah, this proves nothing.
Disappearing for a full week after the murders and refusing to give a DNA sample right after showing up again got him in this situation, not "some internet hero".
Typical Thainess - always pointing fingers at others... Neither the reputation of Thailand, nor the "influential island figure" son's reputation will receive a positive boost through this "vow or declaration".

This will only be of help to find out the truth if an independent British team has taken their own samples of body fluids found inside Hannah.
At this point I would also like to remind everyone of the story where some innocent hilltribe men were charged and executed for a rape and murder in Chiang Mai, despite the fact that they were more than one km away from the crime scene at the time of the murder and had a substancial alibi and witnesses... In that case the RTP tried to jerk one of the accused off in a failed attempt to extract semen that would be placed inside the victim at the morgue. The RTP will do whatever necessary to cover their backs and to keep that 120m hush money.
-
Wow, the RTP found that out all by themselves? I am impressed...

The photo....
...the photo....
...the photooo...

I believe this case clearly shows us why Thailand invesnted the necessity of those re-enactments in the first place... A simple patsy evolves into a true culprit for media and onlookers alike as soon as he is placed at and puppeteered around the crime scene.
It's a simple, but very effective brain wash for the public. Great to see however, that a majority of Thai people didn't fall for it this time. This case has the potential to initiate a long overdue reform of the Thai judicial system and a complete reshuffle of the RTP.
By the way... Wouldn't it be lese majeste if an official organisation calls itself Royal Thai Police while its members frame and torture innocent people while meddling with evidence and sabotaging an investigation instead of solving a crime and putting the true culprits behind bars?
Just saying...

Is that really Hannah in the photo and if so when is that photo dated. Nobody could possibly be that stupid to claim they were somewhere when they clearly posed for photos elsewhere. That's just downright dumb.
Rrrrrrrright! As dumb as "disappearing" for a full week after the murders. As dumb as a father claiming his son "just left for university this morning, no, wait, yesterday, no wait... I can't find him and actually don't have a clue where he is or where he went..." As dumb as handing in a shaky cctv still shot, possibly even photoshopped, as an alibi. As dumb as flying and hoping to not appear on any flight list. As dumb as hoping that none of the other students would talk. As dumb as believeing that one is untouchable and irresistible just because his father is a mafia kingpin...

Their mothers say, they didn't do it!!
Eureka!! Then they must be innocent!!
The parents would be much more credible, if they didn't allow themselves to be part of all this staged nonsense!!
What a pathetic, empathy-deprived low life you must be to write something like that. Shame on you!

Bad choice by the corrupt to the core RTP... Too busy with dividing the 120m hush money amongst themselves, huh?
With heat building up under their dirty feet, these f#$&ers soon will start dancing on a hot plate...

And this sightseeing tour was done to achieve exactly what? Wonder if they had some Tapas on the way...
The farce continues - now with British support. I am disgusted!

Let it go to trial ... they have lots of lawyers and groups looking out for them as well as media who have put the case under a microscope.
John, <snip>, the parents probably don't even know what DNA is. But I guess you are entitled to you RTP protectionist views, god knows, they need all the help they can get.
JTJ is a shill writing for TV supporting the official story in any thread - simply ignore him!

Law of attraction:
Quality products attract quality customers
Shoddy products attract shoddy customers
Very simple, isn't it?
-
And the shit finally has hit the fan - for the RTP !!!
Let's hope that this cesspit full of corrupt brown crooks will be stirred up properly and that heads will roll accordingly.

Find it quite disturbing that the headline reads "farang"... sounds like "unidentified piece of trash drows..."
Would it be too much to ask that at least the media that has a foreign, non-Thai background could refer to us kindly as "foreigners" please?
RIP to the victim and condolences to family and friends by the way...

Superficial blahblah, from a superficial leader in an superficial country... what else to expect? Now he even speaks for western officials and he even "thinks"...
"He said he did not think the police would dare do such a thing in a high-profile case like this."
Well the case just became a high profile case, no? And this due to foreigners and Thais alike who would not buckle under the RTP threats... Before the RTP <deleted!> thought it would be business as usual... something like, "Dammit, our untouchable Koh Tao serial killer boys have taken out and raped another farang girl again, and guess what the jack<deleted> even took out some guy who needed to play hero and safe her. Let's go and clean up this mess before it hits media. Koh Tao Capone promised me a new Fortuner if we make it go away... Make sure that a maximum of bystanders and one or two of our beloved murder boys trample the crime scene to bits, arrest and DNA test all Burmese, especially the ones without papers and cause as much confusion as possible. I want several patsies and wrong leads to show. That should do the trick!"
I am very disappointed in Mr. P to say the least - Thailand is still in a downward spiral, him backing the corrupt RTP and mafia structures clearly shows it.

Does Thailand have usury laws?
Google is your friend: http://pattayatoday.net/property-business/legal-corner/%E2%80%9Cusury%E2%80%9D/

How about taking them out? I mean shooting them on the spot execution style without trial together with their "Muak Gan Nok" employees. Imagine the boost for Thai economy with millions of Thais all of a sudden being freed of their loans while the seized money and assets flow into school systems and health care... Why monitor scum if you can simply wipe it out? If I see a cockroach in my living room, I hit it with a shoe - end of story.
-
Thailand, hub of self consumed priorities... After Thais managed to scam thousands of billions of dollars out of foreign investors and lovers with their 49/51% business and "Waterbuffalo fell down stairs and need hip replacement, send 150.000 Baht darling, pleaaaaase!" scams over the past 4, 5 decades, they feel the need to crack down on a clever bloke who managed to scam 20.000 Baht out of a greedy Thai ("jewelry coming in package, babe - all for you, if you just lend me the 20k") woman? Come on, there are more pressing tasks ahead, such as rooting out the mafia, cleaning up the deep south, rooting out the corrupt RTP figures, sorting out the corrupt government officials and government employees in land departments, immigration, etc. who scam millions out of foreigners on a daily basis. Shall I continue or is this enough? What a sick joke this country is...

Even though this is a good sign, showing that people and social media can make a difference, reading between the lines tells me they only want to check the DNA match and do a flimsy check on mistreatment. Firstly, 5 weeks or so should have been enough time to mess about with the samples and swap them to get a match; secondly, the rape could have happened post mortem what means the killer and the rapists are two pair of shoes. The article does not mention the shallow stab wounds on David's body, Sean with the bloody guitar and similar stab wounds is not mentioned, the fat bloke with the shark tooth ring is not mentioned, etc... I fear the case will continue to go south, because the questions that should have ben asked were not asked by the "diplomatic source" whoever that is...
-
Oh come on - Thais would never do such a thing!

Look into the eyes of this ice cold mother<Deleted!>- I'd trust him as far as I could thrown a piano! And I think one of his famous garden tools is the hoe...
Wow! Where did the group photo come from? Have the RTP seen this before? This puts the gut right next to the victim in very close proximity.
Has he ever been questioned, DNA tested?
The photos are from CSI LA - chubby and a few friends disappeared the day after the murder and returned after the burmese patsies were tortured into confession by the RTP. As far as I know they were not tested since they weren't there...

Guess he could have a chance in a fight with a person of David's stature, but not the skinny Burmese midgets... Just imagine how much DNA the ring holds... I fear that the chubby <Deleted!> already has "lost" it...

Koh Tao headman's son gives DNA sample to quell controversy

I hope everyone fighting for bringing up the truth will continue now even stronger after the ridiculous threats! Menawhile I'd say a good 90% of Thai people and foreigners in forums worldwide are not only doubting the official story but are CONVINCED that this murder investigation is a complete stitch-up.
I have never been more ashamed to call this country my home than in the past weeks since they found poor Hannah and David...
Thailand by now has lost all credibility if there ever was any left.
Hopefully all people involved in the cover up will face their appropriate punishment some day, best when they don't expect it and think all is ok and long gone... Then, BAM!!! something happens in Singapore or the UK that turns the case upside down again... The true murders are nailed, the patsies released, while the true culprits are put in front of an international court and sentenced to death by lethal injection. Might be a pipe dream, but it feels comfy to hold on to something, and might the chances be as brittle and flimsy as a butterfly wing...
