  5. It most certainly does not mean 'I'm yielding' in the UK - quite the opposite. The Highway Code is quite clear. Rule 110 Flashing headlights. Only flash your headlights to let other road users know that you are there. Do not flash your headlights to convey any other message or intimidate other road users. Rule 111 Never assume that flashing headlights is a signal inviting you to proceed. Use your own judgement and proceed carefully.
  6. I don't believe you have to be a fire expert to know that keeping fire exits locked is potentially dangerous. If the expert authorities advised them to keep the exits locked then they are culpable. Otherwise it is down to those who ordered the doors to be kept locked or blocked.
  7. Not true about passengers in London Taxis. All passengers over the age of 14 MUST be belted. The driver is, however, exempt under reg. 6 The Motor Vehicles (Wearing of Seat Belts) Regulations 1993 while plying for hire.

  15. Just checked to see how many EV stations are currently in the UK. Ans: 20336 stations with 54779 connectors (July 2022). Thailand surging to the future with, maybe, 1400 in 8 years time. Wow...
  16. Is that with heart disease or because of heart disease? ????

  21. Not any more. It was taken over by Greene King who closed the Abingdon brewery and now brew it at Bury St Edmunds in East Anglia. Same is true for Ruddles.
  22. Really? https://www.dailystar.co.uk/travel/travel-news/worlds-20-most-beautiful-beaches-27539650
  23. The ISS orbits the Earth at around 250 miles. The moon is 250000 miles away. Its over 20 years old and in need of replacement so, no, it cannot be towed to the moon. There is no vehicle that could do it and servicing it with fuel, food, medicines and people become impossible as its 1000 times further away.
  24. If he doesn't want to be cremated, they could stuff him.
