First you talk about a 1.75L bottle and then you talk about a 1L and some smaller bottles, totaling 1.75L.
If you bring in a 1.75L bottle nobody would be bothered, not even the customs.
If you bring in different bottles, totaling 1.75L you may have a problem.
BUT, as other posters state: You know the rules so why try to avoid them?

IMHO it's a bit over the top:
You see a toddler walking alone somewhere and if you don't do anything about it, you say: "I left it to die!" Was the toddler dying?
You saved a child from falling 5 stories.......really??
If I have to respond every time I see people in more or less dangerous situations, I'd have to behave as the guy in the blue and red nylon suit with a big "S" on his chest.

The "Darwinism" reference is a little cruel when applied to a 12 year old. And I would expect that 12 years is old enough to safely ride an escalator.
Darwinism? I thought it was more something like Murphy's Law.
Accidents happen and blaming who ever is out of the question.

Wasn't this service terminated a year ago due to the lack of passengers?
Why, <deleted>, are they going to set it up again?

The problem is NOT heavy rain IN Bangkok, but heavy rain upstream........North and North East. This will cause the rivers to swell and the water-reservoir to fill up to unhealthy levels.

It's not a "school-thing", but it is a Thai (or Asian) thing: payments upfront, deposits, guarantee, etc.
You will see in the foreseeable future, that everything you would like to buy or obtain requires a payment up-front.
Sometimes ridiculous small amounts, sometimes refundable but mostly not.
Whatever happens: Before any kind of service or good will be delivered, a 100% payment must be completed.

I would suggest, to use a so called "Vip Visa Service".
Slightly more expensive, but only six peoples in the Minibus.
And a better chance to avoid one of these reckless, suicidal acting <deleted> driver.
If you'd like a VIP service and no reckless driver, go for 5-Star visarun in The Sportsman Bar Soi 13 off Pattaya Beach Road.
For a whopping THB 2300-THB 2500 (many-runners get a discount), you'll start from 6 a.m. with a breakfast up to your choice (included), van drives off around 6.45 a.m. with 2 stops on the way to Ban Laem.
After the visa forth-and-back has finished you'll head back and start with a light lunch (included) in the mini-van.
Also on the way back 2 stops for the smokers.
If you fill in the survey you will receive a coupon for a free drink (included) in the Sportsman bar.
Applying can be done online or in person in the Sportsman Bar.
Besides your passport, you'll need to bring 2 pass photo's.
Very efficient, very safe and very convenient.
The bus offers recent movies (on usb-stick, so no interruptions) and wifi......yes....wifi.

Howard is just a voice over-star.
He manages to attract listeners and let them remember what it is about.
Intentionally or not..........the message came across and is remembered.

I think that there are more Bud's's around.
Only in Pattaya I know 2 Bud's's: one in Mike's Shopping Mall (Beach Road entrance) and one in BigC North (Festival); ground floor.
I wouldn't be surprised if every major shopping mall has at least a Swensens or a Bud's.

As an alternative you may try BonCafé; they also have machines + capsules.

Van Houten plain milk-chocolate or
Snickers
But Hershey's, Toblerone and many other brands available at Tesco, BigC, Friendship and Foodland.
My daily portion chocolate-taste comes from Nutella on a whole-weat slice of bread from Rick's Bakery.

"Tents" are the places you see everywhere.......semi-permanent structures (looking like ........ well.....tents) with loads of 2nd hand cars and motorbikes.
When I bought my Civic, a few weeks ago, I did have a Vios on offer. The Honda dealer came up with a tent-guy who offered THB 210,000 (7 yo, 380,000 km, 1.5 manual).
I decided to sell the car private and ended up with THB 255,000.

Bit off Topic.......
Do you need a Myanmar Visa to fly in and fly back the same day, not leave the airport just activate the next 90 days ?
I think.......or I'm pretty sure you need a Myanmar visa for that.
You NEED a entry-stamp and exit-stamp from the Myanmar Immigration and since you pass Immigration you need a visa.
Thai Immigration will check this, especially if you just fly forth and back in one day.
It's the same as a border-run to Cambodia........you need a visa for Cambodia for that.

" Metropolitan Police Commissioner Pol Lt Gen Kamronwit Thoopkrajang .................to rush to the house and hold a talk with Chalerm for about an hour."
With enough money you can buy your way out of anything in Thailand. Combine wealth with political power, they'll even change the law for you.
But by God, don't call Thailand a banana-republic otherwise dozens of pink-colored-glasses wearing folks fall over you.

Always amazes me. It's paradise here and people still kill themselves!
Paradise for one, usually means hell for another!

Two hours for a 20.000 Km service??????
I hope they have rooms available when you have to do your 40.000 Km service and the oils from gearbox and drivetrain etc have to be changed.
At the 100,000 km service you'll get a voucher for a room at Ambassador City!

Supposedly, the tests have been postponed due the the expected heave rainfall for 2-6 September.

Wonder if they have any Hondas for sale and delivery NOW. Hondas seem to be in short supply.
They have always "take away Honda's" available.
A few weeks ago (when inquired about a Civic), the delivery time would be 2 to 3 months.
One week later, when I ordered the Civic, the delivery time was reduced to a whopping 2 weeks.
"Take away" at that moment where" Freed, Accord and Brio.

Mmmm, dilemma.......wash my car today or not?
I guess I'll support Thai economy with another useless act.........I'll go for a car-wash.

Wonder if they have any Hondas for sale and delivery NOW. Hondas seem to be in short supply.
Not only Honda.........all cars except for the "running-out" models are short in supply, but I ordered my new Civic on 26-7 and was delivered 2 weeks later. Probably a cancelled order, but who cares.
The "new" Honda dealer opposite Ambassador City replaces the showroom which is situated opposite Mini Siam in North Pattaya. According to the sales-people, the service department will stay operative, but sales will move 100% to Na-Jomtien.
Female Police Captain Involved In Chevrolet Showroom Incident Revealed As Fake Officer
in Pattaya News
Posted
So, she pulled a gun at a showroom as a police-officer.
Then, she was released from her duty as a police-officer due to this major mistake.
And now, she is found guilty of impersonating a police-officer.
One big matter of not loosing face..........well how can she lose her face anyway?
