Foreigners are preferred but not as many of them around these days....they have a selection of places they set up. Certainly not just at the station.... I have known them stop both bikes and 4 wheels.
I usually take my horse, that confuses the hell out of the BIB.

Wrong. All societies need a degree of discipline in order to function properly. Self-indulgence is decadence and only leads to the degeneration of values and behavior. Self-indulgence in the name of 'freedom' is misguided and dangerous.
My one liner was a statement of philosophical position. We obviously disagree on a binary basis but you are right about self indulgence for it's own sake being of little or no value to an individual or a society. and also that self indulgence and decadence is generally not conducive to attaining higher goals in life.
I'm not discussing porn or the article specifically - I am saying that everybody should be free to make their own choices provided their choices do not cause physical harm to another person's life or property.
That means an individual is free to make reckless and self indulgent decisions and suffer the consequences of their narcissism at their peril. Just as others should be free to reap the benefits of their sound decisions.
Taking away freedom (and therefore choice) was practiced in many places in the 20th century - didn't work out too well in Germany, Soviet Union, Maoist China, Pot's Cambodia. Cuba, and a host of African States.
Culture and Freedom can and probably should be symbiotic, but restricting freedom in the name of culture is fundamentally wrong, because in that sense "culture" can be more accurately described as collectivism.
I'm not American but I think their Constitution is one of the greatest pieces of political prose ever written to try and prevent government tyrannical overreach and encroachment on personal freedom.

In less than a generation, carbon tax will be a personal responsibility/liability. You'll have a compulsory app on your phone that will calculate your daily personal carbon tax liability and deduct the credits from your bank account.
You won't be able to enter a 7/11 or a gogo bar unless you can show the appropriate QR code.
Why do you think they're faffing around with all this covid passport <deleted>? It's just a warmup for the Great Greenie Reset agenda.
They might not insist on a barcode tattoo on your wrist just yet, but as they're currently emulating Hitler's forced medical and scientific experiments on human beings I don't see why they shouldn't get around to it eventually.

My mate has a serial liaison problem, some of which get semi-serious from the girl's perspectives. He thinks I'm joking when I tell him to hide the knives.

The Thai economic engine is simply in need of a tune up. I mean, how difficult can it be to replace the rubber band?

I seriously wish I could use Thai math when compiling my annual tax return.
I've looked in all the right retail outlets but I still can't find a calculator that has the "?" symbol on the keyboard.

34 of those trucks wouldn't carry as much as 12 utes.
There is no over-cab, rear or side extensions for freight, and they are limited to less than 2 metres in height, whereas a ute has unlimited vertical capacity constrained only by the point of balance.
There's a reason why you rarely see 3-10 tonne trucks in Thailand. 3 tonne can go on a scooter and sidecar, and 10 tonne can go on a one tonne ute.

This guy will be branded a heretic and fired or demoted. The few bureaucrats and politicians who speak the obvious are not destined for long and illustrious careers.

I think the good doctor with the alphabet soup name is confusing his pharynx with his sphincter, and he's talking out of the latter.

100% fit for purpose assumes the potential options are not binary. Either something is fit for purpose, or it is not.
I don't see too many advertisements for parachutes that are 99% fit for purpose.

Had a Staffie that had skin issues. The vet told me I could spend a fortune on creams and pills. His recommendation was to stop feeding him any form of processed food and leftovers of any kind. and only feed raw or cooked meat.
It did work and the frequency of outbreaks became more scarce.
Trouble was that Staffies are food-sluts so got a bit expensive, he could wolf down a kilo of raw beef before you could close the fridge door.
