  1. Rules:

    18) Not to discuss the specifics of prostitution.Thailand has a visible sex industry, and acknowledgment of that fact is not forbidden. However ThaiVisa is not the place to seek or give information on this topic, regardless of your sexual habits, preferences or orientation.

    Thanks.

  2. In other words, treated same as Thai citizen. Zero Thai spoken
So they dont take the keys from bikes in other provinces if your Thai??
I haven't been ticketed outside of CMai, so I don't know what they do elsewhere. They treat foreigners here decently.
  3. I remember paying 2 fines here in all these years - both deserved.

No helmet, 200 baht, paid cash on spot

Wrong turn in front of policeman - written ticket, took my license, went to cop shop next day, 200 baht paid, receipt

In other words, treated same as Thai citizen. Zero Thai spoken

  4. My ADD began to interrupt my studies at age 17, and only became noticeable because I recognized more symptoms. I doubt it got worse. It has been diagnosed by various psychiatrists and neurologists, differently, for 35 years. You must be diagnosed by a specially trained neurologist or psychiatrist. The one who prescribed Rubifen for me at Sripat in Chiang Mai might have understood.

Good luck. Most educators here don't know what ADD or dyslexia are.

  5. I gave up shopping for used big bikes after six weeks here. For want of a rectifier, a Kawasaki was lost. The guy who bought a VFR400 barely made it to BKK - 700 km away - to spend 22,000 baht and three days to get it running. I never heard of these under-600 cc 'big bikes' in the USA. 22-year old limited production motors with a mixture of parts. How many owners? How well cared for? How long to get parts and reliable service? No, thanks. In addition to registration problems.

But if you have to have one......

  6. Does Christian doctrine ideally or in practice place such an emphasis on forgiveness? Does Buddhism downplay forgiveness? Newscaster Brett Hulme said that if Tiger Woods is a Buddhist, he ought to convert to Christianity, to receive forgiveness. I doubt that Buddhism downplays it that much. I doubt most believers of either faith practice it much.
