Maybe that's off topic, but let's discuss. Who knows the numbers? When polled in the last couple of years, most farang teachers in Thai schools give WP's. Many language centers can't give WP's..I am told that many Thai schools hire foreigners to teach, however do not - I repeat do not - grant a work permit to these individuals. Very little amazes me in Amazing Thailand. -

About 10 to 30 meters on the Mexican side.We swam to Guat in our undies and walked back.
On the Mexican or Guatemalan side? My worst ever was a tiny bungalow on the Guatemalan side of the border.Hmmm...A US$3 teensy A-frame bungalow at Mexico-Guat border, no plumbing, one 60-watt bulb, pallet on floor. -

I checked my daughter's webpage at the gifted-talented school where she teaches high school chemistry. As her proud Papa, I asked why she didn't list her ultra-expensive degrees from one of Texas' best schools. "Oh Daddy, half the faculty went there!"

I don't know exactly, but I think Prem-Lanna-APIS-NIS-CMIS have real Western certified teachers. Even the Spanish profesora at CMIS.

I hate to sound negative. But this is a PR statement from the central government.
No. Been there, done it, and bought a t-shirt that said mai kojai. The central administration at MOE has the attention span of a 3-year-old. Local schools have too many students per classroom, poorly trained Thai and farang teachers. I taught Maths in Matayom 1. Singapore textbook, no coordination with Thai textbook. ...If Abdullah and Xinxhi pay 3 Singaporean dollars to buy an abacus, will the high tide be at 3 extredasabsclisch?

in Chiang Mai
First stepped my feet onto Asia, 1 March 2003, with friends. Knew I had to visit Chiang Mai, alone. Spent about 9 days here, and ran home to sell the car and bike. Arrived CMai e31May.
