I have at least 3 times in Thailand, been helped at the scene of the accident by Good Samaritan Thai Buddhists. The story as told by Jesus is that a hated Samaritan rescued an injured Jew after devout fellow Jews ignored him. Jesus taught 'love your enemy' and 'treat all others as you would want to be treated.' To do less identifies YOU as a black-hearted nonbeliever.

I'm not a Thai Elite member, so I won't comment. IMHO, neither should other non-Thai Elite members. Thank you.

Citations were incomplete at opening; may be complete now.

AFAIK, the first ring road is neither the superhighway to Lamphun, nor the expressway from the airport. RR #1 a nearly-unnamed 4-lane ring road that starts at Night Safari and is almost all underpasses.
cm sally beat me to it. That's not a ring road, it's the airport expressway/Mahidol/108, which becomes 1317 (new San Kamphaeng highway) after the super to Lamphun.

That's what I use my teeny 'windscreen' for. I doubt it can be removed without ruining it, making it useless to steal.

I started a daily 70-km round trip daily commute on my first CBR150. Riding under 4,000 rpm would have doubled my commute time. 55,000 km later she'd still hit over 135 kph. Oh - no Thai bike under true 240 cc has a tach, other than CBR, so how would you even know?

Covered by federal employees insurance as retired civil servant.

When Art Friedman, the senior editor of Motorcyclist magazine neared retirement, testing 1,500 cc bikes, he said his best long trip was on a Honda XL175.

That sounds more like it. My daughter got PG at 17; had her bachelor's 4 years later; master's before kid #2. Next girl PG at age 15.I doubt many grade 6 and 7 girls are getting pregnant. 11 and 12 year olds can, but not usually.I'm guessing another The Nation translation problem and they don't realize that the American system is 12 years plus kindergarden and not divided in to two sets of 6 like Thailand. Probably mean Matthayom 5 and 6 which would be grade 11 and 12.

Steppenwolf sang "your degree hangs on the wall. Your parents prayed too much for you. It's never too late to start all over again."

Well at least he was wearing a Speedo. One of my in-laws has been hospitalized at Chiang Mai Ram for the past week and his visitors have reported that the boredom of the hospital room has been greatly alleviated by being able to watch the fashion show at the Lavender pool side. The gentleman wearing the neon green Speedos was quite the hit. -
Nice yellow car - Renault Caravelle/Floride?

It would help if major cities had schools for pregnant mothers.

You don't mention work permit.

The hotel does not rent adults for sex. They may have free lancers in the building you can take off. So did the bar atop my condo (Thai ladies). So do many local hotels allow free lance women to approach customers in central Chiang Mai.

I respectfully disagree in part. TEFL student teachers, like all learners, have a wide variety of learning methods - reading, listening, watching, replying, instant feedback of classroom interaction - which the internet does not provide. Just my opinion.Only problem is that a TEFL cert is little more than the bare minimum. Other than the 6-10hrs you might spend in front of a classroom it's nothing you can not learn from a 100 level education text or a forum. -
I thought a publican was a harlot, tax collector, or American politician.
I had draft Guiness in Ireland. The bartender poured, waited for the froth to go down, and filled it full; then served it.

I think Willy (not Nelson) said "much ado about nothing." It's a refurbished hotel with a targeted niche clientele. A nice clientele.

All's well that whinges well.

American honorary degrees are not standard doctorates, either. A distinguished clergyman gets a free DD, not a five-year post-graduate Ph.D or earned Doctor of Theology. Or they get a doctor of "Letters" or "Humanity."
-
Most honorary degrees are doctorates of non-academic fields. AFAIK.

I'll guess he means due north.A few 100 M away from this hotel is an outdoor Thai style bar with gay customers and pleasing staff. Sitting there on a wooden stool banging glasses with a few fun local guys over a plate of fried rice and a few Leo's would be an altogether more enjoyable experience, and not because it's cheaper.Where's this then? You mean Soho bar?

Amen. And free parking, great internet, phone booth, bike rentals, long hours, fancy digital fotocopies, air-con, coffee, snacks, etc.Buddy's Internet on Thanon Huay Kaew, right across from Kad Suan Kaew. They speak very good English. -
I live outside San Kamphaeng. Not sure if it's cooler or clearer than Canal Road was.
