The red bike in the OP looks like a stock 1983 Yamaha Seca 750 - which transformed the stock 'sports' Seca to a full-dress touring bike. Not what I'd do to a 929, although I did put a big box on the back of my GS850G. A buddy here put a big top tail box on his NSR150.

Well, I blend in like a big 60-something Thai with a blond pony-tailFlip flops, t-shirt, short pants, 174 cm, backpack...I blend in like a big Thai. -
Posts defaming a sponsor have ben removed.

I would find employment first; then long-term housing.

Hordes there were, entire car and bike parks jammed over-filled. Excellent exhibit. It was priceless, harrry, the real Thai deal.

Lots of good advice here. A TEFL cert is not required by the MOE but schools prefer them.

Chicago, city of my birth, was supposedly named Windy City for its windy politicians. Oklahoma City is kind of pretty very windy.

Reminder: Lavender Lanna is a ThaiVisa sponsor.

We have one; I know 4 farang who have them. Most of us complain of a lack of power and top speed; you may not care. I never get used to the riding position, but would if it's all I ever drove. No mechanical problems.

Nooo. Tell Thai Grandma it's her job.Sounds to me to make the gullible farang husband run around and do everything for a month. -
I apologize. I am sorry that I did not have your CV or review your over-1000 posts. I mistook your intentions. Please carry on; I shan't bother you further.

OK - the original poster clarifies that he welcomes serious advice about 'teaching in a school with a professional atmosphere,' although he has no teaching qualifications.
Unqualified teachers seldom teach where there is a professional atmosphere. My serious advice is that he apply his intelligence to become qualified.

Of course, the mother should take it easy. But not bedridden. Nurse, recover, let Grandma help, etc. C-sections require time to heal.

Old wives' tales. Rubbish. I read that Asian mothers working in the fields used to deliver on the ground and keep working. Doctors in USA discharge new mothers on day of birth sometimes.

Now that I got a traffic ticket in front of Red Lion, en route to Guitar Man, I know the location. Having de-virginized my palate with my first fish and chips at West, I might try another. Of course, we should patronize ThaiVisa sponsors.
So if I approach by going south down Chan Klan (being American, I know my compass directions), where do I park my bike without getting another traffic ticket?

No comment except an absolute command: LOVE YOUR ENEMIES.

Whilst we're amongst the educated elites hereby, we can be witty, eh wot?
I am never teaching myself, but I do other activities reflexively.I speak perfect Tex-Mex to the girls at the stores in Brownsville.

The news article in English may have lost something in translation, but I don't quite see the problem. Maybe the cram schools are focusing on mechanicals such as the number of questions on each part of a big exam. The testing board should not play games simply to thwart legitimate exam prep courses.
The reported declines in max test scores suggest the tests are getting tougher. The inclusion of fill-the-blank questions does the same. However, I wonder if the examiners are well trained to grade the answers.

Maybe the commercial or vo-tech colleges do that. el kangorito may know.

IJWT and otherstuff1957 have a point. You need tutors, plural, and backups. I've tutored several subjects; it's difficult, Esp. if you're way out of town.

Well, I missed noticing harrrry, but I got my annual retirement extension today, in spite of my mistakes. Sendbaht helped me.
Advice: start early, 2 or 3 weeks early. The embassy/consulate may not have appointments for a week You might leave a paper at home, etc.
Again: Immigration staff very helpful.
