Did'nt they nominate a few insurance companies which are acceptable ?
Yes they did. But these Insurance companies offer insurance but with restrictions. If you have previous conditions eg high blood pressure, high cholesterol, history of back pain, arthritis and any other medical complaints then these insurance will not cover you for these ailments. They will still charge you high rates but you are not really really covered.

Great win for the Giants. The ARC should be called the <deleted>.... after the decision late in the game.
Collingwood did respond well in the last quarter but it was not enough. Well done GWS but Richmond will think they are sitting pretty after the hard game today.
Will be a great game next Saturday

When I was in my local branch I was offered the accident insurance. There was no arm twisting to do so. I thought it was a good deal and decided to take it. I took it at 65 and is valid until i'm 100. This is my first year and have had a claim already. There were no problems when I claimed at my local private hospital.

In 2015 i returned in July. I new my 90 day report was in November. I did not have a worry in the world. In October I was reading a post about a person doing his 90 day report. He had returned in July. All of a sudden I thought that was when I returned. I then checked my passport and thought you f......g idiot. I then had to drive from my home to Chiang Rai Immigration about 210 kms return to do my 90 day report. It took 2 minutes after I arrived to complete it. I was 6 days over. The local IOs had big smiles on their faces.
So some people do forget and I fall into that category.
Thankyou ThaiVisa for saving me a fine

What are the symptoms?
Edit
Just did a Google search
- Signs and symptoms
- Symptoms in people
- Symptoms in humans may vary. Depends on the type and amount of infection Common symptoms include acute fever, severe headache, chills, severe muscle pain. (Often pain in the calves, thighs, back muscles and calves). Red eyes may have fever for several days, alternating with the fever phase (biphasic) and meningitis. With palatal exanthema, anemia, bleeding spots on the skin and mucous membranes, liver and kidney failure, jaundice may have meningitis Causing confusion, delirium, inflamed myocardial infarction May have respiratory symptoms, cough, sputum, may contain blood (hemoptysis) and chest pain
- Atypical pneumonia syndrome is seen in patients with leptospirosis. Aseptic meningoencephalitis may be caused by all types of Leptospira. But often found from Canicola, Icterohaemorrhagiae and Pomona
- In Thailand, the disease is reported in patients with unknown cause 2.2% to 18.9%. The 1991-1993 survey by the Department of Medical Sciences found a prevalence of 4.8%, but the prevalence in children hospital was 36.11%.
- Although the symptoms of the disease are quite diverse, there may be prominent symptoms of one organ being damaged, whether it is the kidneys, liver, respiratory system, or circulatory system. But from reports that are in Thailand The most common symptoms are high fever (88.8-100%), headache (66-100%), muscle pain (76-100%) and conjunctivitis (74-100%). For less yellow symptoms is 37-70. % Other symptoms include rash, bleeding spots on the skin, coughing up blood, enlarged liver, splenomegaly etc.
- The severity of the disease depends on the type and amount of the infection, such as Icterohaemorrhagiae and Bataviae, which tend to cause more severe symptoms (jaundice, bleeding and renal failure) than other types of infections such as Canicola, Grippotyphosa and Hardjo, Leptospirosis. that Tend to cause symptoms of no jaundice (anicteric illness) than jaundice (icteric disease), which even Icterohaemorrhagiae That often causes jaundice, kidney damage, bleeding And ending with a relatively high mortality rate Jaundice is often found not more than 10%.
- Symptoms in animals
-
Animals will respond to leptospira infection by showing the following symptoms:
-
Acute peracute
fever with a temperature of 104 - 107 degrees Fahrenheit (40-42 degrees Celsius). Acute renal failure in children. High mortality rate of up to 80% -
Subacute (acute or subacute)
symptoms, fever, lethargy, not eating congestion in the conjunctiva. Bleeding under the skin Yellow urine, yellow eyes, anemia, internal organs such as spleen, kidney, lymph nodes are large. Found nephritis, pneumonia, enteritis, non-hot milk, swelling and redness, immediately stop feeding Lactation appears to be abnormal, with a yellow or red blood clot. Abortion usually occurs during the last 3 months of pregnancy. Have a high mortality rate at birth New born baby animals are weak. Some babies have neurological symptoms. Due to brain and meningitis Mortality rate of about 5% -
Chronic (chronic)
animals have abnormalities in the reproductive system. Low mixing rate Reduced fertility due to reduced sperm production Abortion occurs regularly, overgrown placenta, high mortality and first birth. Number of children per litter The production of milk decreases continuously until the end of the lactation period. Resulting in the newborn babies receiving insufficient milk supply The body therefore loses weight, is weak and susceptible to opportunistic infections. -
Subclinical
most common in animals The animal is in normal condition and does not show any symptoms but will have leptospirosis in the kidneys. And is excreted with urine, which is an important source of disease For spreading to humans and other animals

Yep, pretty sure it was introduced because of Freo and possibly Norf one year.
I reckon it pretty much won the Bulldogs the flag in 2016 when they were
able to bring 5 or 6 players back who wouldn't have been available.
I see the merit in it but I still don't like it.
Very true Will. It was introduced in 2016
WHY THE BYE WAS INTRODUCED
THE AFL fixtured the bye after Fremantle and North Melbourne rested 11 and nine players respectively in Round 23 last season, knowing their spots were secured for the finals.
While some commentators argued the clubs had every right to rest its players, others such as AFL legend Leigh Matthews condemned the diluted product.
“There is no doubt both Fremantle and North Melbourne are disrespecting their Round 23 fixtures,” he said.
“But we think ‘well, you’re entitled to do that because that gives you the best chance of playing your best the following week for the start of the finals series’.
“What I’m amazed at is the AFL, in a sense, ticked it off as opposed to saying ‘well, you can do it but we frown on it’.
“We don’t like the practice, and if this practice becomes normal, which it will, it will become more normal in the future then we are completely disrespecting Round 23.”
Fremantle and North Melbourne rebutted the claims, saying despite resting players en masse they had every intention to win their respective matches.
The Kangaroos lost to Richmond by 41 points, while Fremantle were spanked by Port Adelaide to the tune of 69 points. The next week, both clubs won their first finals.

Excellent job Will. You had it won a long way from home. Well done Alex as runner up. It all starts again next year.
I too would like to see Brisbane go well in the finals. It would be a dream GF for the Lions and the Dogs.
Thank you Will and Radar for posting the results.

The water level has increased due to the recent rains. The actual low level never reached any where near the level in 2016.

WILL WILL be the 2019 champ. No mind games WILL stop him. 2nd spot is up for grabs. We all have to remember the Lions this weekend and in the finals. They will be a big threat.
