I would say, 8 out of 10 migrant families in my properties do work and do get handouts, if you include Housing Benefit and other benefits I'm sure they are entitled to, as most seem to be on pretty much minimum wage, even after 10 years or more of being here. One family with a total of 11 grown up kids between them, both in their early 50s don't work anymore and now claim PIP. They also understand how the system works and seem rather comfortable.

I'm British - I don't seen this as sarcasm - just cringeworthy. Sorry.

I am due a testosterone blood test later in January, the previous one showing slightly on the low side but was done in the afternoon. I've been told I must do the next test before 10am to get an accurate picture, hopefully my 10:10 appointment is good enough...

Old post I know, but I am going through this myself. 56 yr old brit, unusually with a hot 24yr old brit girlfriend - not that it makes much difference in the "desire" category. Quite happy to just cuddle up and go to sleep, feeling a bit guilty as I know I would be sha&&ing the t1ts of it years ago. And that's what's made me realise something has changed over the years. I'm not too shy, so Dr got me an appointment as the local clinic and I'm now on Tadadafil 5mg daily. Got wood much of the time now, but still not too bothered on the sex part, but it has helped. Maybe I've got a lot more on my mind, business wise than I did years ago, and sex just isn't quite so important to me, but for the past year I've been in an unusual situation where the girl wants it a lot more than me. Maybe the pressure doesn't help. I always remember chasing the sex with a partner, rather than the other way round.

Cruise Liner From Singapore Arrives in Phuket with 3,700 Tourists
sharksy replied to webfact's topic in Phuket News
In my 50s, I did a Singapore to Phuket cruise for 3 or 4 days, quite enjoyed it as a first experience. Too hot to sit outside my room for long. -
Recently took my UK girlfriend to Samui, long stay at the Ritz there, round Bangkok, even a couple of days in Pattaya. She absolutely loved it, admittedly, I was like a tour guide, knew the places to take her, but she was in awe of riding round on a scooter without a helmet, the beautiful beaches and exotic food, just so many things different to Europe, although to be fair, she not exactly, well travelled. She loved the nightlife, all the quality live music places we went to, smiling faces, everyone seemed happy. She noted on her return to heathrow, she instinctively smiled at a stranger (despite being a young stunner) and didn't get recipricated. She knew the difference Thailand made her feel. Could probably go on, but this is a quick summary.

Scottish woman’s cliff plunge in Thailand sparks insurance debacle
sharksy replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
I have full Motorcycle License in UK, yet my HSBC worldwide insurance (free with packaged account) still limits me to 125cc. I looked into other travel insurance policies too, and most of these also only cover to 125cc -
Thai traditional dress set to be listed on UNESCO

Oh, I hope so. Much prefer that to listed under UNESCO :-) -
I don't suppose it is a problem, but just thought I would check... So, I sponsored my girlfriend at the time to visit me in UK for a month. Everything went well really, but I knew she wasn't the one for me long term and told her this. She returned to Thailand. I've since got a new girlfirend (British!), but didn't tell her as I didn't want to hurt her feelings so soon. Still had occasional whatsapp messages each way, in a friendly manner only. However, about a month ago, she messaged me to say that the is coming back to UK the following day to experience Christmas + Winter here. It seems she is staying at a Thai friends house and looking at her facebook posts, she has been travelling around local towns and places. As I didn't invite her, and I presume the Visa conditions state that she should be staying with me, are there any potential repurcussions of this? I know her as an extremely sensible lady (almost un-thai!) and she intends to return to Thailand mid January - Which is still within the Visa window - and I believe she will leave. I wish her no malice, but welcome any thoughts on this please.

My girlfriend tells me, any girl who says size doesn't matter is lying. Thankfully, I passed the test with flying colours.

What is the deal with all the skin lasers shops around Bangkok
sharksy replied to DonniePeverley's topic in Bangkok
My Thai girlfriend spend 10,000bt, money she couldn't really afford, on a series of whitening laser clinic sessions, as part of a package. I think it was the freckles she was hoping to lighten, but didn't seem to do anything to her, apart from make her poorer -
Some of the best bands are on Soi4 Nana, mostly Hilaries. Maybe not exclusively rock, but always good covers and a great night out. It's my goto area, and I'm not necessarily looking for women, just want a good night out.
