Question for you: an election in Farangland: one party wins by some real margin. The second and the third (which is really small in compare with the first) make a coalition and the third makes the PM....democratic and the will of the people? Happens and no one complains Or: one party has a PM candidate who is loved by the voters....get PM after a year the own party removes him and put in some complete unknown person...will of the people? But no one complains Or von der Leyen as EU president (if you followed that drama in detail). In the pure sense of parliamentary democracy you are right (and the senator construction is nonsense) but that pure ideal democracy doesn't exist anywhere on the world (maybe beside the peoples republic of north korea....there the people get what they vote for ????)

I know a case where someone was angry because the neighbor is mowing the lawn on Sunday which is not allowed, but the police need an hour to come, so he is finished meanwhile and there is no "crime" anymore. I think that speaking together approach is much more reasonable

for normal people that is the normal thing to do....you don't go to the police for mango theft, you tell him to stop it. Problem was that he was not normal people..... He should be castrated because men don't beat elderly women.

In her world that is even true....

Maybe it is fun....and cheap.....and you don't get any STDs....

You should have said: Hey you mama san...look what fine bar you run with good profit....you make more money than me old poor farang. That might have got her confused.....

The people who voted democratically didn't vote to 2/3 for Pita....his party got 38% of the valid votes so 62% voted for someone else. For example 29% (PTP) wanted someone from PTP as PM. So the compromise just looks a bit different. If the Senate manage to install someone complete different than I agree with you. If it is just a shift in the coalition or another similar coalition than it is still democratic.

Pita ready to step aside if his party fails to win senators’ hearts

1) it was not obvious to all...some defended PTP that they would never do that, they are inseparable. If you saw that as always on the cards. Than you are one of the more realistic thinking people. 2) you really think Pita/Thaksin/Abhisit are there to help you? You think you pay tax only so we have streets and schools? Was it in any of these times of mass demonstrations care taker governments and coups, etc in Thailand worse (beside in the locations themself), or did everything run just fine, only no one had the time to steal taxpayer money? My sentence was provocative: What I mean when I try to be more reasonable is: we should have a very small minimal government and bureaucracy. Think of 750 MPs + Senators, than 72 (or was it 77?) provinces with governors, and all have their huge staff (and hire their relatives), what a huge waste this is. Yes PTP is letting have him a few runs till he complete loose his face and look ridiculous an the same time the senators look like they are complete negative and blocking everything. Makes it easier to have a PTP PM get voted in or a compromise with PTP taking all the minister jobs. Many speak about Anutin as PM.....not my idea but some people really believe that he has a chance. -

Is or at least was on their webpage. But also happily meeting with them is Yingluck, Thanatorn and Prayuth. So whoever you vote for, you get Klaus. -

Where are the people who said that this is nonsense when I predicted that PTP is undermining MFP to become PM themself (after installing a friend as speaker)? -
I would say asking to boycott a business for any reason is OK. Outing extra-marital affairs: I would say the person who has it is to blame....If you play the conservative moral high ground as senator you should also live it yourself.... Can't say Pita is not good enough and yourself have a secret affair.... One or the other....

No voter can not be included in the collective will....They showed that they have no will in this.... With the 2/3 elected majority you are right....But if they nominate a PTP candidate it is the same 2/3. If they drop MFP and make a coaliton with Democrats and BJ it is also 1/2 of the population. I agree that this Senate thing is wrong and bad. Should not happen that way. But that everyone want Pita is also not correct. Often a president would not accept a prime minister or a minister. But that president is elected himself, which we don't have with the senate.. It is a sloppy low IQ constitution.....but it was accepted in general referendum....would be good to change the constitution by someone who is accepted by everyone.

My party of choice is chaos in government building and no functional government as long as possible....No government is the best government. First term of Thaksin was good, first "term" of Prayut was good....Both second terms were very bad. Abhisit was very bad and just a puppet. Yingluck was very bad....Anutin during Covid was very bad.. So non of them.... -

why? did China steal Syrian oil? Or did it attack countries like Libya and Iraq? If a country would do that, than yes.....But China didn't attack any foreign country -
The senators will never vote to take the power away from themself so it is for nothing

because I like Thailand and don't want to see the people here poor. No opposition to Myanmar murderers and corrupt dictators in Cambodia are not on my list because with both there is a lot trade that helps the poor people in Myanmar, Cambodia and Thailand. Internal politics of Myanmar and which military family controls power there is not Thailands business. Thailand should also trade with Russia, North Korea, Iran and whoever can pay for product because it benefit Thai people and a boycott helps no one. -

and an aggressive stance against Myanmar and Cambodia...all these border trade. And he is against China...only biggest business partner of Thailand and most of the tourists come from there
