Making sure it was drunk...is kind of forcing....I went to school in the 70s in Austria we had school milk and no monitoring....no one looked at us. But of course no one would have got the idea to play around with food in the 1970s -

Some drunk pissed on a life wire.......... -
No they are scared from the communist talks from Pita and what laws may result from it. Talks about tax increases and higher electric costs (CO2 and green things) scares away producer. and higher minimum labor costs No matter if these things are the right thing to do or not. Investors want cheap energy, cheap labor and no taxes and no regulations and stability. If it is democratic or a dictatorship is irrelevant...it must be cheap

Sugar is the biggest problem...but I don't see a problem with education on health and hygiene....Thais are pretty clean but being dirty would not make them get shorter and the basic healthy nutrition ideas...I think people know that coke and ice cream is not healthy. They just ignore it. -

people are not meant to wear clothes, live in houses, use wheels eat any vegetables or fruits (and getting vitamins) in Europe in winter. And definitely we are not meant to use smartphones or computer to post our ideas on forums. -
What is out of control? And why is control needed. There are no Cannabis dealer that force it down our throats. There are no Cannabis overdose deaths on the sidewalk. Who, like me, does not like Cannabis should simply not buy it, not use it. No law is needed to help me not buying it. And it is far less addictive than alcohol or cigarettes so no excuse for a law there. Yes...only tolerate it, ban advertising for it, ban public smoking of it, and of course ban driving car intoxicated with it. Everything else is not the countries business

yes Thaksin bought the elections before easily and now Thanatorn bought it easily. BJ is not that rich but did well. The problem is that people take from all of them the money...but vote only for one...so one of the Oligarchs win. -

That the majority of people agrees does not justify shooting people on the street. Beside that many had nothing to do with narcotics and were just accidents, it complete destroys the system. The police can't just execute people, no judge needed..... -

Alone the public discussion the information and than the public referendum needs month....and for sure some people will want changes that need to be public discussed...than we are at years. Or do you mean the MFP just writes its own constitution without discussion and referendum? Yes that is what I worry about -
Overworked and underappreciated, doctors need more support
h90 replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
Lol...can we destroy that posting before my staff gets ideas? In the company we don't have that problem....recently we don't even had these surprise sickness that happens Monday morning...migraine or diarrhea. If someone is sick we don't really need a doctors certificate....but we are a very small company. Minor things I treat myself or wait it out. My wife had bungalows for tourists in the south and some middle age women to clean and similar things. Paid per day (so if not come not pay) they all very like once a week with something at the hospital. I don't know if they are really ALL in poor health or if they are hypochonder or if that is a kind of place they meet other people? Whatever it is, it is not possible to finance that. -

I doubt that.....in the past the people weren't fully informed...now it is more a propaganda war and everyone is in their bubble....It is not less ignorant, it is different ignorant. Best example is the Covid/Vaccine discussion...You have 2 groups which are both 120% sure to be in everything right and have their groups where everyone confirms the others bias. And they don't discuss much in real life anymore. That is not better, maybe even worse than the absent of information before. -

My guess is they'll write a MFP centric constitution....If they want to make it right it will be years with the public discussion and the referendum. But maybe I get a positive surprise. -

And it causes people who have only minor problems to go to the hospital. Overloading the system. Make it real costs cap at 5000 Baht and real poor people get it free. Don't know if it is only here in our office but if someone has a sore throat they run to the doctor (not hospital) and come with 5 different tablets. -

No...there should be an appointment process which is not from the government....maybe judges randomly selected? Who select the next EC? Say EF is in power and select the EC on the next election we have the same discussion claiming they are biased against the other parties. (The same as the Senators). Bad constitution.... -

I agree on the "are sick of the current leaders" and the Democrats were also a complete failure. But in Thai history, new parties rose like stars and gone next time again. I would not put too much into it. -

I think it is a good regulation, someone must certify it. Say in one polling station was obvious voter fraud...like double the votes than voters. You want to put that person in parliament and wait till the courts decide 2 years later. I think the EC with a 60 day time limit is good. Maybe make the time limit 40 days and make it possible to appeal at court. And surely a different way to select the members. But having someone who does it is important.
