There was no smoking signs on the walls. They turned on me and told me to f off, they expect people to breath their second hand smoke . Being an ex smoker for over ten years I cant stand the smell of it , it was in your face , blatantly rude, just like the guy in the post. I stopped because I was puffed out climbing 2 or 3 stairs, I knew it was killing me, I have seen lots of these ignorants die from heart attacks and loose there feet from smoking from poor circulation. when I lived in Chiang Mai a few years ago now, Burmese used to hassle people walking home from Tapei Gate. They even killed someone on a bike with a machete . The police did nothing much until all the bar owners got together and paid the police to patrol the area ,they came into the bars and signed a book every few hours , i think it cost 300 Bhat a week for each bar but it cleaned the Burmese out.
