Germany?
That can happen. Depending on where he entered the highway also. We know a lot of roads are not marked adequately. I friend of mine died in Australia returning from six months in America and looked the wrong way crossing a road on foot. But that is pretty outrageous to be on the totally wrong side of the highway although he appears to have slowed a tiny bit on seeing the motorbike.

I can think of an appropriate punishment once he is found. Might need a longer rope though.
A chain and hook would do it nicely . . .

He was defending himself and his wife from at best a beating. Worst case death and rape. We have all seen how far a gang of angry Thais can go. Maybe he could have fired a warning shot. Maybe he didn't have chance. Whatever, he doesn't deserve a murder charge. Manslaughter at worst. Better still charge with carrying a firearm in public. The gang of lads should be prosecuted heavily to send a message. The t urd that died, oh well that's Darwinism.. He brought fists to a gun fight.
When the cops sold my friend a gun, they advised. "Always shoot twice" A warning shot and a shot to kill. In either order. Get it?

The guy is a moron! Just look at him..........he would struggle to run a ma & pa shop with the IQ he possibly has. A complete Gimp!
No no no. . . . this is how you do it in LOS. Say something. Say anything relatively useless. Let the press and or a few expats on TV moan a bit. Let some journalists have a gripe. Every one will get over it because we are all to busy living our lives to do anything about it anyway.
Tomorrow's news may be better. Or about Korean nuclear warheads. Donald Trump's new gaff. Who cares. Does it matter?
He knows how to play the game. The back room boys know what to put in his mouth.

The same god that killed her? That god?
No. God gives us life. But we are born with a death wish. Go figure it. Basically its not dying. Just transformation. Transfer from one dimension to another. We make too much of all this fear of death etc and loss
Been to a Thai funeral lately?
They know how to do death. . .

We need some "Twitter Hero" to take up the cause and boycott Red Bull products,
With enough worldwide press and a BIG reward he will be " Found" in a few days,
I don't do twitter, but the associated bad press on F1, Ferrari, etc could respond to a petition.

"The parents in this case are merely following the same logic. "
There's a tiny flaw in your comment. When an aircraft experiences problems and oxygen masks are required, there are masks for everyone, thus parents once breathing properly are capable of then assisting children.
In the case in point here, no provision whatever was made by the mother for protection of her children's heads. This is almost SOP for vast numbers of Thais, mostly poorer and in rural areas, since in urban areas, police sometimes actually get off their r sez and stop riders without helmets.
Helmet use is mandated by law, although you'd never know it. Many Thais wear their helmets without securing the chin strap, which indicates to me that they are more concerned with saving B200 on a petty fine from the odd cop as opposed to losing their life by damaging their cranium
Many on this forum might question whether the contents of their crania are worth protecting anyway.
Maybe but the criteria here is as you say probably economic. Lets face it, there's not much common sense in much of Thailand. A positive attitude means that we are wearing our helmets to avoid the police fine and we won't have an accident anyway. If we're careful and Buddha wills it and we give to the monks etc etc. If we do have an accident its more important that we survive to take care of the kids that also survive. Right?
Is that common sense? Or the logic of LOS.(S) ? Better not go any further

You must not have gotten on a plane lately. Every safety drill on an aircraft urges us to put on our gas or oxygen masks 1st. Before we do it for the children. It has been standard advice for many years.

Don't these guys go to the movies? Where the Police have instant access to flight information for all airlines and flight records of private planes going in and out of the country? Or do they only use those for their, unholy, war on pleasurable and useful substances.
Don't they have a data base of all police cars registered and who they lent them to? I say lend because, who knows, they may not be police at all. Just one big happy corrupt family in the Kingdom. Sorry country. Or hub of intrigue, and endless possibilities. Enough to have 1,000s of expats glued to their TV forum , every day as their main form of entertainment. 555

Still sad though.
Who is looking after the dog now?

Yes, all round sad and now fella has no parent. . . . Its a pity he didn't know his dog can swim. Most dogs can.
