installing an 8,000 watt water heater
OneMoreFarang replied to mahjongguy's topic in The Electrical Forum
Then the cable should be able to handle 40A. Please be aware that not only the cable must be good for 40A. All connectors must be able to handle that current. I.e. terminals like this are not able to handle 40A, even if the cable fits. You need something like this with the correct rating. The A rating must be same of higher of the RCBO. I.e. this: http://www.es.co.th/detail.asp?Prod=131200076 -
Read Square Wave Signal with Voltmeter?
OneMoreFarang replied to stubuzz's topic in The Electrical Forum
You should be able to see with a multimeter if there is any voltage/signal at all. I.e. with a broken cable there would be nothing. But that's about it. Multimeters have a different purpose. -
I think it's wonderful that we have all the choices here. Maybe I eat sandwiches, which I make the way I like them, at home. Maybe I prepare pork chop, the way I like it, at home. And sometimes we buy ready-made food at the market. And often my Thai gf buys fresh food at the market, and she prepares it. And sometimes we go out to restaurants. I don't like much advance planning. We decide each day spontaneously what we want to eat and where.

You opened a couple of threads about your issues. And some of us responded with well-meaning advice. What else did you do already apart from spending a lot of money on eBooks? Personally I think one of the great things about eBooks is that you can order them anytime and you have them within a minute. So if you just finished a book from author X, maybe you feel like another book from the same author. Or maybe you were disappointed and read something else. It just takes a minute to order and get a new book. I think part of your problem is that you (want to) do thinks total or not at all. Today it is books for 15k, a day or two ago it was about girls for 20k. How about one book or girl at a time?

IKEA online order headache, and some good news
OneMoreFarang replied to OneMoreFarang's topic in DIY Forum
They have them in their shop, ready to eat, even in Thailand. -
I think as always there are laws and then there are interpretations of those laws and ways which they are enforced or not. I am pretty sure that by definition of the law working is working, paid or not. I guess some authorities won't take this too serious, like the officer you talked to. But is seems some officers take it very serious. And people get prosecuted. I remember stories from bar owners in Pattaya in their own bars. If they were in the customer area, then that was no problem. If they spent a minute behind the bar, together with the bartenders, then that was interpreted as "working" (without a work permit). It's up to you what you want to think. Just be aware that only because one officer tells you A that doesn't mean another officer also sees A and not B.

Personally I like to be fair. A long time ago I met a beautiful girl in Nana. She was stunning on stage. And she still looked stunning in a dark hotel room. But after I did some "research" I discovered that she was not born that way. Then she told me she had the full operation when she was 16. Obviously, she couldn't be pregnant and have babies, but apart from that she was just like any other girl. She wasn't a man anymore. She was a girl. She was a "she". And looking at that picture The Miss looks pretty much like a she to me. And then there are people like Lia Thomas, which claim that they are a woman, without any female attributes. I wouldn't call him her.

IKEA online order headache, and some good news
OneMoreFarang replied to OneMoreFarang's topic in DIY Forum
I ordered already some more. It seems IKEA adds to their stock every day. What was yesterday not there might be in stock tomorrow. It's a little boring to check every day. But it's good that it doesn't take weeks before items are available again. -
Too late I discovered that I forget the word "they don't make problems". Officially I live in a condo with no pets policy. But some people have pets in their units. No problem. I think no-pets-policies exists to avoid having noise from pets like dogs. And maybe dirt from them in the public areas. If someone has a rabbit at home that is no problem.

Smart humans use them when they need them and not all the time. But in a way I agree, I wait for the first face phone holders so that the people who can't walk 100m without their phone in front of their face have something new.

The built in Windows protection is very good. You don't need any other protection. And for mobile phones, etc. If you don't click on things left and right and everywhere then don't worry. And if you need all these devices, what is the problem? I also have several PCs, tablet, smartphone and I pay for some software. No problem.

Naked Bangkok man sparks outrage for masturbating on condo balcony

Were any girls spotted on the street below the balcony? I heard somewhere that is supposed to be a Japanese tradition - with a little less distance. ???? -
How much does Apple make on an IPhone 14 Pro max ?
OneMoreFarang replied to Social Media's topic in Apple Products
Let's not forget all the money they make from a big cut of the software which is sold through their system. -
Some places don't advertise it, but they make problems for some animals which are small and not noisy.

Best ways to pull yourself out of a slump?
OneMoreFarang replied to bob smith's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
Are you rich? Old? Do you have any goals in your life? I think it helps to be busy with something that you really want. Then you are motivated to do exactly that. Maybe try this one: Self Authoring - Future Authoring Worst case you wasted and hour or two. But maybe you will start to build your future.
