Not true.
There are built in check digits in a Thai ID number
See here for a full explanation of the digits on a Thai id card:

But I doubt the bank's software is going to do a look up. Accessing the government's database on citizen's info looking for a match would surely not be allowed.
(Cue the rabid globalist conspiracy theoreticians .....)

Go to Dr Apichai, ENT specialist at a clinic evenings on 3rd road, search googlemaps. He's good, not expensive
Not so sure. A week ago he cleaned my itchy ears and charged me 900 THB. A week later, itchy as hell and crusty skin.

Seaweed maybe? Sorry. I hope you recover very soon, Loy, or maybe Roy. No disrespect!

And as I predicted the choreographed media assault on cannabis has started again, Fake news without doubt, I'm not saying the incident didn't take place, but I am pretty much certain that cannabis was not responsible for him sinking, If losing buoyancy was a side effect (which it is not) this would not be the first time this has happened, and as there is no evidence that cannabis was a contributory factor why was it even mentioned?
His wife apparently mentioned it but it might well have been dreamt up by a story seeking journo. On such rumours are laws built. Irresponsible reporting if not confirmed. TPN should publish a retraction if it's found not to be the case. It's a pity the god of ganja can't sue for defamation. Maybe the Ganja Traders Association could, if it existed. I suggest they form an alliance amongst themselves to defend the good name of ganja. I'm sure there'd be millions applying to join. Sue the butts off these quacks and politicians who defame it.

If they had a point we'd know what they meant. We don't, ergo they are pointless.
Nonsensical logic. What 3 letter acronyms "have a point"? Does the acronym BBC have a point, leading you to understand its true meaning, as there are several. The point of an acronym is ease of use. Nothing to do with semantics, or semiology.
Many people, I imagine all Aussies and most Americans, know what at least one stands for, so by your definition, they are far from pointless. You not understanding them, or being too bone idle to find out their meaning, does not render them pointless. It just renders your comment pointless.
The topic was supposed to be light-hearted. Gloomy outlook over your way I guess.

When will the remaining members of the EU stop using the english language? should you all not consider communicating in German,? after all if it wasn't for the british you probably would be by now
Euro trash?
You mean, if it wasn't for the Yanks, and Hitler deciding to invade Russia instead of us. But history lessons are frowned upon here.
I had a friend who was rabidly pro Brexit. Bullied, trolled and abused anyone speaking out against it. Soon after the vote took place, all he could come out with was, guess what, "Get over it. It's democracy. Move on." The bloody cheek of it! Ruined millions of people's plans for living, working, and travelling in Europe. And that's just for starters. He spends 6 months of the year here, and the rest divided between France, Turkey and his model village in the UK. Farage got himself an EC passport and moved to France. And Johnson? Who cares? He has Czech citizenship I believe.

Title of thread "Barred from Europe: 2.4m Brits caught in post-Brexit passport chaos". Note the reference to post-Brexit. You've posted 12 times. Just get over it! Time to move on!

Yet another pointless, in this case an oxymoron, post!
Ah, what's the point. You can't be bothered to look up MLB or AFL. Major League Baseball? Australian Football League? 2 3 character searches in Google and all is revealed.
Now SNAFU - that might qualify as an oxymoron.

The vast majority of people in the uk don't even give brexit a second thought regardless of what "the surveys" might suggest, but there are still one or two who , for whatever reason just can't accept the results of the referendum because it didn't suit them personally. It really is time they got over themselves, this is what democracy is all about
Why don't you admit it was a total disaster? Or show me the upside? And quoting "the vast majority of people" is such an old hack!

1. AFL is back! Crazy game, crazy people.
2. MLB is back. The polar opposite, I think.
3. That's it for now. You can add your own.

Any good news regarding the effects of Brexit, is typically downplayed, and actually resented by the remoaners, They actually want the UK to suffer in any way possible so they can play the "told you so " Card They are actually the willing architects of their own disaster, a negative attitude to anything will result in only failure. What do they expect? Talk about cutting ones nose off to spite ones face
We are out and we are staying out, they need to get over themselves and stop the childish sulking
You wouldn't happen to have a list of benefits of leaving would you? I mean in real terms, not ideological terms. Taking back control? Bwahahahahaha.

Check dust in your accommodation. What about shower water?
There are too many sources causing allergies.
For me I would check also the fabric of bed sheets and clothes. 100% cotton only. Organic washing detergent and softener. Also check your spices in your food. Most common is MSG causing allergy if you go out for dining.
Interesting you should mention shower water. I'm looking to get the tap water tested in my condo, but can't find anywhere here in Pattaya to do it. The rest I think can be ruled out as this is a fairly recent event. I've not changed my eating habits, laundry or clothing handling recently. But moved into my apartment about 6 months ago.

So a UK passport issued in 2013 might still be valid, for travel outside Europe? Until when?

Well, that's easy. Avoid the spa and communal bath for a week and check the improvement.
I did, for 2 weeks. There wasn't any. But that doesn't rule out the problem arising there. I'll just keep on with the pills, creams and drops I guess. They at least alleviate the worst of the symptoms. Today there's very little itching, and the redness has disappeared mostly. So it's an ongoing battle.

Hmm. Think I can rule out all but flowers and trees from that list. But it could be related to my frequent visits to a spa. Communal bathing? My ears are affected too. Seems to go together. Itchy eyes and ears. Bizarre.

Most pharmacies carry allergy eye drops. Antazallerge is one of them. There are other brands too.
I've been having some eye allergy problems the last few weeks too. I live in Ratchaburi. There are a lot of those trees with yellow flowers in bloom right now. It could be pollen from those.
All the burning right now doesn't help either.
Yeah, I've bought drops from pharmacies, and tablets. A fraction of the cost of the Bangkok Quakkaya hospital.

MT Interlab does various allergy packages
Thanks. I went there but like the other clinics, they only test for food allergies, eg lactose. Can't find one for pollen or dust for instance. Anyway, I'm going with self medication. Anti histamine tablets, cream and drops, and my cureall cream, Germolene, which solved my right eye swelling up so I couldn't see out of it.
BPH charged me 3000 for 2 visits and prescribed a lot of utterly useless and unnecessary antibiotics. Quacks! I hate them. Charged me 400 THB for their equipment, a microscope. 8 for a cotton bud. 56 for 2 eye drops. 330 for nurse.

No disrespect, but a no brainer in other words. In order to make the deposit, insert ATM card, enter PIN, select from menu, forget what the options are but ultimately deposit cash maybe, drawer opens, deposit money without kinks or folds, proceed.
